Jester FX Question

It's been a few months, since around December, and I have not gotten any of the items I payed for (lenses+facehsell) He says the lenses are finished, but the vacuformer is aprently backed up. He's also been sick from the materials he's using, but still seems to be selling custom items. He also hasn't been responding to any of my e-mails or messages I send him......same story I suppose.

Anyone else in the same boat with him?

Yeah, that's F'ed up, man. First Ernie (SpiderFan27), then Mike (Spidersuitmaker), now Justin (JesterFX). All three of them were involved together in the now defunct "TKO Entertainment". I've talked to all three of them at one time or another and they all seemed like decent guys. I KNOW for a fact that they were, at least different guys (as opposed to one guy running a scam). There are any number of people on this board that have sent money to one or the other of these three and NEVER recieved anything back. I just don't understand how someone can do that to people that you have become friends with through the shared love of a hobby. Then once they've trusted you with their money and merchandise, the only thing they get back from you is "screwed". You want to think the best of people, but aside from Spidey4Fun (who earns HUGE marks for honesty and just general "all around good-guyness" in my book), I haven't seen anyone else on this board that has not turned out to be a dirty-rotten-low down-thieving-scammer (apologies if I'm forgetting someone else who is honest and up front). Sucks!!!! And it ruins the hobby for everyone!

No, of COURSE you haven't, good buddy. I was really speaking more about people that plainly offer their services for commisions. You make your own costumes and such and then offer them for sale, but you're not ACTIVELY seeking clients. It's the people that say "Hey, I can make you that costume you want. I can make anything for anyone. Here are my pictures and prices. Now send me your money." Then they take the money and disappear into the ether leaving everyone else bitter and suspicious of the guys that actually do good, honest business (like you).

Spidey4fun is awsome as well. When I needed lenses and facehsell for a birthday party that I was to use Jesters. I went to 4fun (as I had one of his uncompleted suits) and he make them for me in a short time, and it all worked out!

OVDH AKA OLLIE is another one to stay away from, I know of at least 3 guys he has taken for big money including Gundam who is on these boards. And the award for best customer service goes to..... Spidey4fun.

Don't worry 30, Taylor was referring to me. He's basically harmless until he starts ranting about some fantasies and whatnot.

On a more serious note, I am also waiting for Justin to come through. In my case, he was going to ship the shell and lenses to spidersuit/Mike (to install in a new suit).... Justin couldn't get in touch with Mike, but was returning my calls. I couldn't get in touch with Mike either.

I left a message a few weeks back for Justin to just ship the shell and lenses to me.... I know he didn't have the shell at that point. I will give him another call tomorrow or the day after.
