They just released a FW, so maybe that changed your settings? I would go back to the System Settings and double check the HDMI Audio Out is still selected.

Figure I'll just ask this in here. Anyone ever have problems with their PS3 when they plug in composite cables? My sister's system isn't working so she gave it to me to check out. It shows up on the TV when I plug my HDMI cable in, but doesn't work anymore with the composite. I told her she might just need new composite cables.

Just wondering if anyone has had this issue before.

When you switch connections like that, you need to start with the system off and then hold the power button down for a few seconds until it beeps twice. This is a soft reboot and configures it from HDMI to composite and vice versa. You will not get a picture otherwise.
