I dont know if this has been done before...but considering I'm sure theirs some musicians on here...I thought this would be a nice thread to post pics of stuff we own...and discuss stuff we want to buy or add on...possibly help each other out in the process
I own an Ibanez Artcore Neoprinted Guitar with a custom strap that I had made...I have a Fender Mustang IV amp (the ones that just came out)...I recommend that to anyone looking for tons of sounds to mess with without buying every pedal...also I own a Digitech Whammy, Big Muff, A compressor by dunlop and some Ibanez distortion pedal...I only like that one for a couple songs though... I really want the POG sometime soon...I heard it can make some amazing noise...and I want a vintage teisco guitar asap...Lookin around for a good price Hope this thread hasnt already been made in the past and that people actually want to talk about instruments! (I uploaded a pic of my guitar to kick things off)

Yeah it's got a high gloss finish and is a bit more "red" than the other one I have. Here's the one in the 1st pic:

That one is the "stripped down" model and you can get them for about $1800 US. The glossy one will run you about double that. Not bad though, for custom made instruments.

I play guitar. My current rig is a Epiphone: Zack Wylde Les Paul Custom Camo Bullseye, Epiphone: Zakk Wylde LP Custom Bullseye(with EMG 81/85), Dunlop: Wylde CryBaby, Vox: Joe Satriani Satchurator, MXR: Wylde Overdrive, MXR: Black Label Chorus, Peavey: Windsor 100w head/4x12 Peavey: Valve King cab. I use Dunlop.11-.50 strings, Dunlop: Ultex Sharps 1.14 guage and a Fender: RT1000 rack mount tuner. I also own a 1978 Marshall: JMP 50w head and a Marshall: JCM 800 cab(I think it was made in '81). The Marshall would be my main amp but I need to have it compleatly gone through. Other stuff I have that I consider my main gear is:
Michael Kelly: Deuce(335 copy) Dean: EVO ESP/LTD: EX-102 Caleb is the finish on your guitar stock or Custom? I forgot to add that I use both an OD and Distortion pedal because I can't always play loud enogh to used the OD pedal to really push the amp and get a distortion I'm happy with. I just recently got a Gibson Melody Maker, too.
Ummm, I prefer the DD5 to the DD6 but I think they are getting harder to find. |

The demo is done by Pro Guitar Shop and I think they have some of the best demos. I bought the Black Label Chorus and their Vox: Joe Satriani Satchurator demo was part of the reason I bought one of them as well. The Wylde Crybaby has the Fasel inductor but I think this is offered on a bunch of CB models. And it has an adjustment on it where you can control how easy or hard the expression pedal is to rock. The demo will help you out with the tone of the Wylde CB better than I could explain it. I hope I was at least some help to you. |
