How would you like to see the next Blade movie.

Wait for Snipes to get outta jail and make a Blade 4?

Reboot?

I'm not sure really. Either way I don't care. I love Blade so I'll watch it regardless.

ideal candidate- Wesley Snipes
substitute- -----------?

I want Blade to be in Avengers 2. There can be a supernatural foe, vampires teamed up with whoever the other villains are. It would be good to have Blade assert himself onto the team, not taking "no" for an answer ("You've got vampire problems, so i'm a part of this. If you think you're bad enough, kick me out.")

alternately, the scenario can be someone like Fury approaching Blade, while he initially tells them what Wolverine told Charles and Eric (go blank yourselves)... [looking at the team together:] ("what the hell is this, the circus? a robot-man lush, a star-spangled rip van winkle, a renaissance fair groupie and a walking super-steroid.. The chick looks good; she can stay..")

This would be a great way to bring Blade in, test the waters for another solo film. Also, if they can get Wesley Snipes back, he will get to interact again with Sam Jackson, they go way back ("Jungle Fever")..

The action sequences can be stepped up, blade can be given new weapons, especially fighting against some non-vampires he can even wreck some heads..

God I hope this never comes to fruition. If I had to forgo The Avengers fighting Thanos, Kang or Ultron for them running around fighting generic vampires, I think I'd have an embolism.

Blade I and II were fun movies (the less said about the third one the better), and Snipes really brought that character to life, but I am fine with never seeing another Blade movie or TV show ever again.

If they did one though, I'd rather they go with a Reboot. Snipes is too old 4 that s**t anyway.

Oh well. It would be cool a Blade 4 with Snipes. It must takes place years after Blade: Trinity with Blade against vampires. No Nightstalkers, no Whistler's comeback.

If Snipes can't come back ('cause jail's problem), go with a Blade Origins.

In both case: Morbius as the villain!

That would work fine with the original idea planned for Trinity: in a distant future, humanity is enslaved but the vamps are opposed by a resistance led by Blade.

Wesley's age would work better now with that futuristic plot. That would be cool, though they allowed Daybreakers to tread the territory first. I still wouldn't mind seeing a Blade take on that material.

But overall, I'm cool either way whether they do a continuation or a reboot. As much as I love Wesley and he did probably more than anyone, along with Goyer, to make Blade popular, the character is bigger than any one actor's portrayal. He has to be in order for the character to remain viable. So a reboot would be supported by me as well.

I wouldn't mind one more Wesley Blade film to give his run proper closure and then rebooting the series and maybe doing something different with it.

i like that title for a reboot "blade origins"have a young 20 yr old blade and a younger whistler how about kurt russell?and morbius for villian

No reboot. The first two Blade are done so well with Snipes and it's not like it's been decades since the movies were made. He could even do a 4th one. That being said, I think Blade 3 pretty much closed out the story and I don't think a another sequel is required. I'm pretty content with how the events played out...even though I didn't like Blade 3 that much.

I'd take a Blade 4 no problem, that idea of it being set in the future with vampires ruling the world and Blade comes out of hiding one last time to take them on sounds amazing, as is stated in the first movie, Blade still ages like a human, so Snipes age now would fit into the story.

My problem with Blade is he's so limited. He hunts vampires. That's it. Nothing else. There's not a whole lot you can do with him story wise. He has no real rogues gallery, no supporting cast. After a while his adventures just become repetitive.

The next Blade movie should be an anime movie animated by Madhouse , who is the Japanese animated studio behind NINJA SCROLL,VAMPIRE HUNTER D:BLOOD LUST,HULK VS,and the BLADE anime series (and other Marvel anime series). So far, the BLADE anime series is pretty damn good.

Joe Quesada has confirmed that the studio have their hands back on Blade, as well as commenting on future Marvel Studios movies and showing off a clip from The Consultant featuring Agent Coulson and Thunderbolt Ross...
