1. Hulk lifting Thor's hammer.
2. The movie being an hour and a half. 3. Too much forced humor.

1) The look of The Hulk onscreen compared to the rest of the characters.
2) The run time (although I don't think Marvel would be dumb enough to cut it down to 90 min. Now Fox, on the other hand....) 3) Not enough "WOW" moments to set it apart from similar genre films. |

All my worries are Hulk related.
1.Hulk is portrayed as a big, dumb monster. 2.Banner/Hulk being pushed back to background characters. 3. Hulk's design/CGI not being good enough.

1.) Too much action and a very small plot.
2.) Too much cheese. 3.) Uninteresting villain(s)

1) Joss Whedon ruining my favorite heroes!
2) Some s**tty score, that won't be as epic as Alan Silvestri's Cap. 3) Where's my money shot with all the team together, Whedon?))

Coulson dying/turning evil
The skrull invasion being defeated in a lame/easy way Banner/Hulk being the least important character in the movie by far

i hope they make it more serious, not gritty and dark, just serious... like dont make it kid friendly...they should take the direction of the 08hulk, ironman, thor, cap... the 2003 hulk was more childish and his animation luked cartoonish 2008 hulk was more ripped and serious.... but i am not expecting any TDK level of plot twist.. |

1) Josh Whedon making the third director to cause more damage to the Hulk mythos on film by lacking the knowledge of what makes Hulk lovable.
2) Hulk's cgi design not looking as good as the Comic Con art or the 2008 movie version in the movie. 3) Banner being a do nothing waiting to Hulk out in order to be effective instead of using his brains.

1: NOT ENOUGH ACTION / ACTION SCENES TOO SHORT!
2: HULK design and CGI; the latter's lack of realism is what has turned a lot of the GA off in the past 2 movies; also I thought the design for TIH was perfect and i don't like the idea of the redesign, just improve the CGI skin texturing. 3: Movie too short; anything less than a good 2.5 hrs would suggest to me that the story is rushed and the film is not given room to breathe. Note that all 3 things have been problems in previous MARVEL films. |

The three things I worry about are that Marvel doesn't learn lessons from the failure of GL:
1) Glossed-over action/fight scenes. SHOW THE GODDAM ACTION. Fight scenes should be epic. They should take several minutes to resolve; not several *seconds.* 2) CGI IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR A GOOD STORY AND INTERESTING CHARACTERS. Ever. Period. 3) NO SHORT RUNTIMES. The Avengers will be the most epic movie Marvel has ever attempted, and possibly ever *will* attempt. It should clock in *at least* 2:30. Forget all this bull**** theory about "shorter runtimes = more showings at the local cineplex." People (including theater owners) will *gladly* forego mass-market multi-screen short flicks in favor of epic movies that ACT like epic movies --- i.e., 2.5-3 hour runtimes, even 10-minute intermissions, etc. |

Running Time - Marvel really needs to forget number of screens and showtimes concerning the box office potential and not be afraid to release a long movie. They've been setting this up from the beginning and it's time to do it right. People will pay to see it no matter the length. Besides, they had to have learned that cutting character development from Incredible Hulk made them LESS money. Alien burn out - If they don't ground the Skrull threat Avengers will be just another Cowboys & Aliens, Skyline, Battleship, The Darkest Hour (anyone see that lame trailer?) and waste the good will built up by everything they've done to date. Action Balance - I'm not one of the people who have been clamoring for non-stop video game type action sequences. I want to see epic fights but not tremendously long fights. That gets repetitive and boring after a while. |

Cherokeesam pretty much nailed my concerns. #1. Running Time. Its gotta run 150 minutes if we're gonna get any real character development. Independence Day is my template since it did well juggling 3 leads & their respective subplots & a cool enough yet not too time-consuming way of handling the alien invaders. This movie has 4 leads so anything under 2:30 would have to be rushed. #2. The Action. There hasn't been one real epic fight sequence in any of the MCU films. Not one. Marvel Studios needs to [finally] take a lesson from the other CBMs & actually give us a fight/battle that's memorable. The fight at Jean's house in X3. The invasion of the mansion in X2. The chase through downtown Gotham in TDK. Give us something epic, Marvel. #3. The Tone/Safe Factor. If this movie feels like a kids movie & turns the much required impending sense of doom over the invasion into a light bowl of Fruity Pebbles just to please the 12-year-olds, I'm gonna throw a tomato at the screen.

1. Weak plot due to so many characters
2. Hulk being thrown in the background 3. This is kind of with #1, but the plot taking a backseat to the action. If I could add a few more they would be: 4. Too little action( basically I want a good balance of action and plot, ala LOTR) 5. Short run time(This should seriously be in the 2:40 range) 6. Coulson dieing/turning evil 7. The plot revolving mostly around Stark(I know he's the most popular, but lets not make this Iron Man 2.5: The Avengers)

Pretty much my worries. I think this is a chance for Hulk to shine, but I'm afraid he is not going to get that chance.
