Agreed. That would kick ass.
On a side note, I still think Raimi's suit was a perfect translation from comic to screen.

I would like to point out that both of those pictures are of the Spider-Man suit, so both are "the one that started it all".

Is anyone else still not that pumped about the new film coming out? Maybe it's still too far away or I'm still missing Raimi's series, but I'm just not that pumped up for it yet.

Well that last one was the first and only picture of it I remember seeing for a very long time. Maybe I'm wrong, cause I wasn't on the Hype in those days, but for me that picture is very much the one that started it all.

![]() I like this scene much more than the one of the extended version. This is short, simple and funny. The other is ridiculous. |

I'd still say that the Acheson costumes are a great example of how to translate costumes from a comic book to the big screen. Subtle details like textures are added to the general design of the classic designs of the comics. The biggest updating I would say is the back spider, which actually is an improvement on the classic design.

You're right! Man, it's been about 10 years and so much stuff over time involving the films have happened that I sort of forgot which was released first. Thanks for refreshing my memory, lol.

Yeah, it's definitely a perfect translation. As I said, it's still my favorite comic to film translation.

I remember chasing down the Entertainment Weekly that contained it.
