3 months before TDKR, mostly clueless.

For those who were having an Avengers/TDKR discussion in the last thread there is an appropriate thread. http://forums.superherohype.com/show...=378329&page=9

This specific thread is meant for speculating about TDKR and TDKR alone! (Thus the thread title THE TDKR GENERAL DISCUSSION & SPECULATION THREAD) This thread is not for judging the merits of different movies or some other non related discussion that isn't related to the Batman film series as a whole.

Please try staying on topic guys otherwise all you're going to accomplish is getting all these post deleted and possibly getting reprimanded.

Judging perhaps not, but surerly comparing is relevant.

How exactly? I'm still not sure why declaring one movie to be better than the other is necessary and/or useful.

Never said this. What I am saying is that when making speculation and anticipating films, comparisons being drawn to other summer tentpoles can be relevant if people are mature about it.

There is such a hilariously low chance of this movie disappointing me, personally. I proudly keep my expection as high as the ought to be. If I'm disappointed somehow that's my own problem, and I'll cope. But all signs point to this trilogy being remembered for a long time.

I cannot possibly convince myself that this won't be a good movie, I'd be lying to myself. No movie is perfect, but I expect greatness because that is what Nolan consistently delivers.

There will be a laundry list of nitpicks just like there are for every single CBM, but this last trailer convinced me that the heart iand conviction in this movie is there and that's what I respond to more than anything.

I am hoping the emotion in that trailer is a good indicator of what's coming. The heavy focus on Bruce is what I want back in this franchise.
