Not that one. God no, not that one. They reported that it would be a movie about either, whether Bale would come back, an established Superman mentoring a fresh Batman or an established Batman (Bale) mentoring a fresh Superman. Either way it would be Cavill as Superman.

So, a VS-movie or a team-up? Or both?

According to the article, a team-up.

Ok then. I'd rather want a JL-movie, but I can see that causing the ultimate Marvel VS DC clashes.
They should make that into the ultimate VS-movie. Or not.

Interesting, that could work, I prefer that Superman be older than Batman.

That could happen if Batman reboot / restart is coming some years after MOS.

@HighFivingMF

After seeing what The Avengers pulled in I think DC/WB wants a team up now more than ever. Robinov is a big fan of getting Batman and Superman together, and considering how Green Lantern went at the box office, I think their safest bets would be Superman and Batman.

My opinion is that is the next step. A lot of people were saying team up movies like Justice League and Avengers would be a mess, turned out pretty good.

But are we talking about Avengers VS Justice League or just Marvel-characters VS DC-characters then?

The intermingling of characters from both companies, no necessarily against each other, working with each other.
Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Although a good chunk of Avengers was heroes fighting other heroes.

Ok. I dont think it's needed to intermingle the characters since both companies have just as great potential within their own roster. Ok, seing HULK team up with Superman WOULD be great, so yes. No.

I don't know, as jaded as I can be, I'm open to these crossover concepts now. Avengers was better than I ever thought it could be.

I like Avengers much more than I thought I would, but it wasn't without issues. The whole "perfect movie" argument is lost on me. A lot of issues. GREAT popcorn flick though.

Well, I thought Avengers would be an absolute mess, but everything seemed to balance out pretty well.

Before any of that though I would very much like to see batman's character and prowess better represented on screen. That really is the only way he would work in any shared universe film, otherwise I'd honestly are see Lucius Fox on the team than Bale.

Showtime, it's been said that the internal layout of Warner Bros., as it is now, would make it impossible to logistically do a teamup film. There's very little communication between parties on different projects. Warner Bros. isn't Marvel Studios.

That is why their first attempt at Justice League was a self-contained film.

Do you agree with that assessment of Warners?

I disagree with that yes. Robinov wants to do a team up film, and he will find a way to do a team up film.

Do you know if he'll have a new writer revamp the previous drafts from Andrew Kevin Walker and Akiva Goldsman, or just take a fresh approach to it?

And I wouldn't be surprised if WB wants to see if that ensemble magic Whedon worked for The Avengers by hiring a writer or two that worked with Whedon on his TV shows. They have like a dozen people they can pick from, like Jane Espenson, Marti Noxon or Doug Petrie.

And why would it mess up plans for a MOS trilogy? Are you guys referring to Cavill's three film contract, or what?

it never works just be the first justice leauge they need to do what works for them and not copy marvel
