Dammit, Thread Manager. Like I was saying right before the other thread was closed, what if the Raimi suit was an unlockable suit? I don't think it's a likely one but it would be cool.

Where is this confirmed? If he is then I hope he's Mysterio (because of the long standing fan rumour/wish for the Raimi movies).

I wonder how many villains will be revealed before the release. I wouldn't mind having a few surprise encounters while playing the game...

I think the "pivotal role" thing was a joke. I wouldn't be surprised if he's voicing a scientist or something who dies in the opening cinematic.

Shocker and Tombstone would be awesome! However, I get what you mean about the previous games having too few villains, but I'd rather have fewer villains (not as few as in EoT however) with more depth than lots of villains with very little depth. With the amount of revealed villains so far, I'd be very pleased with the number if it wasn't for the lack of classic, non-hybrid ones so far.

Some people in the part 8 thread mentioned that maybe Beenox is using Scorpia instead of Scorpion because Sony might want to use him in a film. Just giving my thoughts on that:
Don't you think the tail would make him resemble Lizard a bit too much? It would be really cool to have him in a film and he's one of my favourites. His paranoia would be interesting on the big screen. The action would be maybe a bit too much like Lizard. Or maybe not, I dunno. But to be honest, I think Beenox used Scorpia instead of Scorpion either because a) they wanted to use a lesser known to be cool you know, or b) they didn't want to mess up Scorpion too much.

Scorpion would be an interesting choice for a villain, but I feel he's similar to Shocker in that he's probably better portrayed as working for the main villain. It fits him better in my opinion. Though I'm unsure as to who would be using him.

I can see Scorpion working for someone at first and then turning against those who made him, becoming a villain with his own agenda.

I don't see him actively working an 'angle' or something like that, but I could see him working for Oscorp or someone else and turning on them as well if he becomes more crazy/paranoid throughout the film.

Rather, I think it would be far more interesting to show Gargan's growing depravity. He was a hired sneak, a paid snitch, he followed people, rummaged through the gutters and made a pittance. He was a nobody, only defined by the sins of others. Given that background of sleaze, I think it would be interesting to play it up. Have him be a grotesque, oafish slob. Not like a typical Noo Yoik thug as some comics protray him as, but rather like a bloated glutton or alcoholic. The transformation didn't change his seedy persona, all it did was remove his inhibitions. Someone like that can be very dangerous when given a little power, because they lack even the most rudimentary of moral constraints. And slowly, after he's indulged in vice after vice, he could well become someone you would class as being truly insane. |

That's a really interesting picture! And yeah, I wonder who that guy is far away!
EDIT: Maybe Peter Parker himself in that goldish Web Rush thing?

That's basically how you'll see Web Rush. When you use Web Rush, the pov will turn into a first-person pov and show various locations/ways (you'll see these via golden Spidey silhouettes) to get to where you need to go. ![]()
