Can't wait to see Iceman! I hope he'll appear in ice form more than once! Surprisingly he's actually my favorite character from this movie series. And Ice slides/ice spikes please!

I love Ashmore in the role and I thought he had MAD chemistry with Page. Will be interesting how they play them out in the DOFP. They definitely need to keep them together.

They should still be friends but I hope they will not continue that love-triangle storyarc again. I don't think Iceman was ever attracted to Shadowcat.

I didn't like the love triangle aspect either. Bobby wasn't such a great fit for Rogue and I was never a fan of their pairing. I did however like Page & Ashmore's chemistry through The Last Stand, it was one of the very few things I thought they did get right in the film.

If anything Rogue should have dumped Bobby and went after Colossus.

I doubt they will bring in Gambit after the W: O fiasco. Plus, Bryan has never been a fan of the character. If they do you can expect a completely revamped type of Gambit that he maybe unrecognizable to comic fans.

I know Singer, Hayter, DeSanto and Doner Shuler have mentioned that Gambit's role is filled by Wolverine and Cyclops.

This film is so packed that I doubt there will be anytime for romance. lol

one interesting thing I find on Shawn now is that he has cut his hair lately, so once he gets the iceform, he will look really close to comic Iceman, with the head looking like a ball.

no joke, I think it will look really cool and closer to the comics.

If Singer gives us at least one iceslide on the film....... man, it would be reaaaaaaaaaally cool, after ALL these years.

Yes plus his hair in X3 didn't look so good in ice-form.

Agreed. I'm not expecting anything in terms of romance or love triangles, especially among the original cast. If there's any relationship we've heard of possibly being explored it's the one between Hoult and Lawrence.

I actually didn't want Shawn back because I never liked him as Iceman (mostly due to Singer's really eye-rolling coming-out subplot). But if he's going to be in it, I want the AOA version of Iceman that couldn't turn back to human form. So instead of happy-go-lucky Bobby, he was more like dark/jokester/angry Bobby.

That will never happen simply because of budget concerns.

If they don't have to budget for Colossus, it could happen. The X-men movies never seem to have enough money for CGI characters haha.

God that looked terrible. Looks like the same effect they used on Johnny Storm in F4.

And I'm very glad that Bobby Drake's moment to shine; all the build up that resulted in a long journey from being with the X-Men into BEING an X-Men led to... head butting Pyro.

I hate that movie.

I thought the same when I watched the ice effect on X3, its clearly the same, just with blue.

hopefully Singer gives a little different take, but not sooo different that it will become a totally different Iceman
