Young Han Solo could be cool. I love the Han Solo trilogy books, and while this movie doesnt have to be exactly like them, something along those lines might be exciting.
The big question is: how young would they go for Han and who would play him? hmmm

So that was the girly scream i heard, huh?
![]() As far as Bobba Fett goes, as most of you know i'm not the biggest fan (i think he's way overrated), but i think it could be more interesting seeing what he's up to between ANH and ESB.... kinda showing him get his rep as a bounty hunter.... oh, and showing that "disintegration" on the screen lol.

Way more excited for both of these than a Yoda movie. Glad the rumors changed focus fast!

A Boba Fett movie that’s set in the fan favorite era of Star Wars.
I think it’s safe to say that Disney and more importantly Kennedy “GET IT” J

Well, i think the important thing is that they get it right. Anyone can figure out who the more popular SW characters are and make movies with them. They key here is the execution.

I'm most excited about a possible Young Han Solo movie and so I hope that's the one Kasdan is penning.
Though I like Boba Fett I was never as infatuated by him when I was a kid as many others were. I think a movie about him has great potential for sure, but he is just not as important or interesting to me as Solo, so I rather have the screenwriter I'm least convinced by handling Boba.

This Boba Fett movie is a dream come true, now I hope they "do what's right" and let Joe Johnston direct it. With him behind the wheel, I have no doubt this will be my favorite movie of all time, lol

YES. Fett and Han have so much story potential to carry their own films, excited for both.

This is ****ing crazy. Never thought a Boba Fett movie would ever happen, nor did I ever think that Han Solo would go...solo.

This kind of makes me rage. Han Solo is the hero from nowhere. A prequel explaining his back story is oxymoronic.

Man, they could screw the pooch real easy with these, but here's my take;
Star Wars: Two Smoking Blasters Directed by Guy Ritchie He just wants his credits. After Boba Fett (Bruce Willis) narrowly escapes from the Sarlaac pit with his life intact, his first order of business is to head to Mos Eisley to collect his credits owed from Jabba's associates. Except according to them, Boba Fett already claimed his credits. He embarks on a relentless quest to retrieve his credits and uncover who the impostor is. Upon learning that the son of his long dead nemesis Jango (Temuera Morrison) has assumed his identity and Jabba's assoicates where in cahoots to swindle Boba he must go toe-to-toe with the Hutts—hitting them with heist after heist after heist—and the entire galactic underworld learns an unforgettable lesson: You don't f*** with Boba Fett. Star Wars: Solo Unforgiven Directed by Joe Carnahan You can escape your past. You can't escape your fate. Having finally settled down after a life of violence, Han Solo (Harrison Ford, Guy Pearce in flashbacks) may have finally found peace. However, one day, his past catches up with him as an ex-army buddy from Corellia calls in to meet up for a favour. The meeting is revealed to be an assassination attempt on Han. Someone from Han's past wants him dead, and Han has to find out why, how, and when.

I'm all kinds of torn on this news. On the one hand, I kind of hate this Han idea, because I feel like Ford is Han, and that anyone else will just be mimicking Ford playing Han. Then again I said something similar about Josh Brolin in MiB3 and I ended up loving that film.
Next, Yoda. Kinda torn on it, as I don't want an origin. I wouldn't mind a film set when Yoda is like 500 though. Lastly, Boba Fett...YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!! |

Good news about the Han Solo thing and it jives with the Jabba movie rumour. I fully expect the first meeting of Han and Chewie, as well as the duo's dealing with Jabba.
As for Boba... we'll see. Just don't let Johnston direct.

Needless to say, I'm excited!
The Boba Fett movie should be a slam dunk, just don't take the helmet off!The Han movie will be more difficult, there's a great story to tell there but whoever is cast as young Han is gonna have an uphill task to match up to Harrison Ford's iconic portrayal.
