I'm just glad to have Berry and Sy. This film was getting a bit white washed for a second.

Aye, yes it was. Hopefully they will stay alive in the film for more than 15 minutes.

I'm still waiting for Bryan Singer to tweet Halle Berry's comeback.

I hope he announces more this month.

Since he's been tweeting the return of the old cast's names in doubles and triples (with the exception of Hugh), I think he may sandwich her announcement with that of 1 or 2 other big names.

I do wonder if January Jones is returning. She did nothing for me as Emma Frost (Alice Eve was born for the role) so I can't say I'll be disappointed if he skips her altogether. However, I won't be terribly upset if he does cast January either. I love her as an actress, just not as the White Queen.

I hope she's back just for continuity.

Because they already died. And I have said this a hundreds of time but they can't simply put all things in 1 movie. You have time-travel, Sentinels, the cast of the OT and the cast of FC in 1 movie, they are already resurrecting Prof X, they have to explain if the powers of Magneto/Rogue are back, the dystopian future and in the top of all those things, you want them to bring back Jean and Cyclops?

How are they gonna deliver a great movie if there's a lot of things going on in the movie. Resurrecting jean and Cyke right away would require a lot of time and development and they wouldn't execute it well if the movie is also dealing with a lot of things. Then if they appeared in the movie, people would whine that they didn't get enough screentime ad character development. Save them for the other movies.

I'd even be happy if Scott and jean showed up post-credits than not at all.

IMO, if James and Famke aren't announced, that actually gives me hope that it'll be a surprise for us. Singer will keep a few things to himself

I was referring to X3...not DOFP. I heard that Fox didn't want either jean and scott in X3 and singer was mad...

i loved her as emma and i think it would be stupid to disclude her because the ending of first class was Erik recrouting her... other whys the ending to first class was pointless

The only thing is that there's ten years between First Class and Days Of Future Past's timelines. A lot could have happened to her to explain why she's no longer with the Brotherhood. If DoFP was picking up like...the day after FC's events, I could see the necessity of her involvement.

Oy. And here I thought the Canadian education system was better up here in the Great White North than our American cousins.

It still baffles me that people continue to use this as a reason why Emma just has to be included in this. Well guess what? The ending of X2 made it seem like Nightcrawler would be joining the X-Men. So where was he in X3? Nowhere, because they didn't need him. **** happens. Characters don't make it movie to movie. Get over it. And Nightcrawler is my favorite character.

And even if she doesn't show up, that doesn't make the ending pointless. The whole point of that ending was to show Erik fully embracing his Magneto persona, not just to pull that waste of acting space into his team.

And it's not like joining the brotherhood is a life time membership...look how many side switching there was in First Class. Imagine where these people stand 10 years later..

The difference with Emma joining the Brotherhood at the end of FC and Nightcrawler hanging out with the X-Men at the White House is Nightcrawler was never invited to be with the X-Men, he didn't have a X-Men uniform and we didn't see him at the X-Mansion at the end of the movie. Its easier to assume that after the White House scene, he parted ways with the X-Men. That isn't the case with Emma Frost.

They could easily recast Ben Foster. If Shadowcat only had a cameo/small role in the first 2 movies/was played by 2 different actresses and got an upgrade in X3 for no big reason just to make Rogue jealous and comeback in DOFP. They could give Angel that treatment too.

eI just don't want any recasting. If Emma will be in this, it's Jones or none.

If they replace Jones with a wooden plank with a wig, you won't notice the difference.

The thing is if they bring in Alice Eve, for continuity purposes, she would have to have an American accent.... >.<
