looking around on Deviant Art, I found this piece of art... I've read a long time ago about what the MCG suit what of looked like, and after comparing what I know about it and this pic, I believe that this is an official suit design of that era.
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/...+age_scale%3A5 ![]() personally, I like it. I like the use of color that it uses, as it keeps an opverly bright look to Superman... it may be a bit bright for my tastes, but it does look colorfully appealing. |

I like the classic symbol better, it's pretty cool though.

I like that design... at least it has bright colors, and I'm all for change if the colors stay moderately bright.

It's actually pretty cool. It seems at least McG was going to take some chances and be original. We might have gotten an original and interesting story with his version.

Great find!! Thanks kakarot!
I love this design a lot.Its very majestic in a way. This is probably one of many variations that they did. I believe they made a prototype of this suit and did screentests with actors wearing it including Brandon Routh. So somewhere out there there's footage of it in action.WB should release that. Wonder what Ratner's costume would have looked like? And what about Wolfgang Petersen's BvS suits? I love seeing concept stuff so i hope one day we get to see all of those as well.

After have followed the Superman developmental hell crisis that went on for years before Singer made his pitch, it's nice to see what MCG's Superman suit would have apparently looked like.
Thanks for the link. |

kakarot, i'm not sure if you noticed but the artist has another concept there as well.
![]() Source: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/...e+-in%3Ascraps BTW Heres a interesting interview about the suit: http://www.superman-v.com/interview.php?id=4 P.S: The way the superman is profile from 3 different angles looks almost identical to something i saw in Alex Ross's MYTHOLOGY.

The design isn't half bad. I don't like the angle of the S-shield and enjoy the lines of the standard shields better, but the idea behind the suit is still pretty cool. I think the belt should've been solid, though and not have had the gaps in it, or the Kryptonian script. Otherwise, pretty cool stuff. Thanks kakarot.

I think I like it more with the Kryptonian symbols on the belt. Not bad at all.

I'm really digging that style of drawing. If they changed the suit to that in the comics first I wouldn't mind it for a movie.

If they're going to change the suit just for the sake of changing it, I'd like to see the Kingdom Come costume.

reminds me of Superman 1,000,000. I wonder how they intended to hide the collar under his civilian clothes.

Someone on these boards posted last year a manipulation of Routh with this suit on.
Probably someone who had already seen this design.
