Okay...I'm gonna go with Nigma/Riddler then as my guess too. Seems like a decent idea to me.

I wonder if he'll cook up Batman a girlfriend on his Apple computer to the sound of Danny Elfman vocals.

Anthony Michael Hall? He does look like he could pull off Edward Nigma really well. Maybe he's just going to be introduced near the end of the movie and he'll be the villain for three, but that'd take away from Two Face... his role has to be a lot smaller than what he's hinting at.

"He adds he's never been a comic-book fan, but "I loved the 'Batman' series, so Batman has truly always meant something to me. It's really been one of my dreams as an actor to become Batman.""
he's the other vigilante. he's the guy Batman is talking to in the sides, and later gets captured by Joker. that's my guess. |

Either that or Nigma....I'm gonna stick with Nigma...only because he would do it pretty well I think.

I'm going with the Vigilante. It's funny though, after reading the sides with the Batman wannanbe vigilante scenes, I always pictured the character as having blond hair, and looking very similar to AMH. I really hope this is his role, because, to me anyway, it's a perfect fit.

Edward Nigma sounds like a great possibility - and it would kick sooo much ass.

I don't think its going to be Edward Nigma. As cool as that would be, I just can't see Nolan over saturating his trilogy with villains. My guess is he'll be a wayne employee that ends up being one of Joker's victims.

E.Nigma? Hate those silly pun-like names some of the Bat-villains have.
Like Victor Fries or Harlen Quinzel or whatever her name is. Edward Nash... That I could live with. |

I got it. In Nolan's world Harold is a Waynetech mechanic who goes deaf due to an accident at the company and becomes the lovable guy that we all knew and loved.

Think about it - he said he even described it as a surprise. He is not a comic book fan. It has to be someone fairly well known. Adam West's Batman made Riddler a mainstreme comic villian. Jim Carrey's Riddler is still favorably regarded by many movie goers. Plus he would ****in own as Mr. Nigma. I just don't think you would get that reaction if it was just RANDOM GUY #1. The only guy from the sides I thought could work is Rossi. But I don't see that being a really large role - I am betting Rossi = Gamble. |

"I signed a confidentiality agreement, and I can't say which part I'm playing because it affects the story," says Hall. "I can't give away the suspense — it's a $200 million surprise, and I don't want to be the guy to ruin it."
i think we can throw away some random businessman or mobster. it's gotta be a big enough character/role that would completely give something away if we knew of it. *Grayson? *Todd? Supervillian? *note: just an example of how knowing a character could affect the story. Last edited by Mysterio; 05-21-2007 at 11:11 AM. |

He is most def a supervillian and by the way he frames it, he is probably someone working at wayne enterprises.

Rossi would be a surprise, as he is the guy who disfigures Dent. But I can't see how he can have scenes with Freeman.
