Character Personality(Give information on how your character acts, what he/she believes in, how they handle situations): A recluse at times Tyler enjoys his solitude as much as the spotlight. His dream has always been to impact the world and change the future. An egotist he always believes that he is right.

Origin Info/Details: Tyler was orphaned at age 14 when his parents died tragically in a car accident. He would live at the Acreage Orphanage home in South Jersey till his 18th birthday. A highly well known magician at 24 he would discover that he is the first of the vampires.

The water is running in the sink as Tyler stands there hunched over hands on the ends of the sink. Water is running down his confused face as he glances toward the door.

Tyler…Goddamnit open this door.

He turns and looks up at the fangs protruding from his teeth and speaks in a low tone.

Character Personality: The Survivor is out for himself, taking up a shadowy costume only to conceal himself from those who'd like to claim his head (both friendly and hostile agencies after him, and a growing rogues gallery). He may be a selfish bastard at first, going purely by instincts driven into him by training he doesn't remember (his name, afterall), but the people he'll meet in the coming months and years will teach him to help others, and he'll still retain his gruff personality, but has a very good heart underneath it all.

Origin Info/Details: The Survivor will learn early on that he was grown in a secret lab to be the perfect assassin, every single cell worked to perfection, and to regenerate its own lost energy without requiring sustenence or rest. He was trained to precision excellence in many martial arts, gymnastics, and stealth techniques. All was going to plan... until the subject escaped.

This is all what "Alex" himself eventually learns from clues, so some of it may not be the exact truth...

Power Level:

1. Street Level (Ex. Punisher, Daredevil)
2. City Level (Ex. Spider-man, Cyclops)
3. World Level (Ex. Flash, Superman)
4. Cosmic (Ex. Silver Surfer, Green Lantern)

Powers: Superhuman strength and enhanced speed, coupled with Olympic-level gymnastics training makes for superhuman agility. His cells have been engineered to regenerate at unparalleled rates, going so far as to heal lost limbs and major organs in a matter of seconds. The Survivor has also tapped into the power to manipulate energy waves by unknown means, creating intense heat and energy blasts from his hands and eyes.

Attributes:

Strength Level: Normal Human, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, or 100 tons.

Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Normal Human, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, or 100 MPH.

Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Normal Human, 2, 3, 4, 5 hours.

Agility: Normal Human, 5X, 10X, 15X, or 20X Human level.

Intelligence: Average intelligence overall. Genius tactician in guerilla warfare.

Fighting Skill: Mastered

Resources: Minimal.

Weaknesses: Although his cells can both regenerate and conduct the energy waves at his disposal, if he pushes himself too hard his healing may slow down or his energy blasts might become almost non-existant. He's also has frequent hallucinations from considerable mental stress during his life before his memory.

Supporting Characters:
Kat Anderson - Police detective who may find herself attracted to this new figure hopping on rooftops.
Lyle - Pure brawn, invulnerable, and psychotic, who Alex believes to be a fellow escapee from the lab, which he may very well be, but he's also much more.
The Reaper - A shadow who holds many answers to the Survivor's secrets.
Shades - Someone who appears to be simply a man in a slicked-out suit and tie and wearing sunglasses, but this man holds untold powers and chooses to act as the Survivor's pseudo-spirit guide.
Psycho - A villain made of a strange liquid metallic element, he takes great pleasure in torturing the Survivor, both physically and mentally.
Nitro - A female assassin, the sister of Det. Kat Anderson, Nitro has a very large arsenal at her disposal.
Tremor - A man tormented by the early instability of his own power, he naturally developed the ability to fire concussive vibration waves from his chest. After a childhood of accidentally hurting those he loved, he now controls his power via a special chest plate.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. It's a character I created years ago and fleshed out a lot of his story during my wacky youth.

2. I think I might like to be a part of the STRIKE story, even if it's just a sidestory of whatever else they've got going.

3. I look forward to torturing the Survivor as brutally as possible, seeing as how he'll just grow whatever he's lost right back again.

So cold. Where...?

The cold air in his lungs hit like a hammer against a pane of glass. In the midst of a fit of coughing and gagging, the man wondered if this was his first actual breath of air. Strands of blond hair were sticking to his face, frozen in place by sweat and tears turned to ice. Despite the growing numbness, he tried to move, and heard metal clicking together. Looking up, he saw length of cold steel chains and barbed wire wrapped tightly around his arms, leading up to the canopy of thick branches above. It was then that he began to question how much of the pain he was feeling was frostbite, and how much was the sharp frozen metal shoved into his skin.

His muscles weak and largely unresponsive, the man slowly got to his feet and grunted with effort as he pulled on the chains. "Nggg!" The sound of wood snapping echoed for miles in the frozen wilderness. Finally, the heavy chains and wire fell to the ground in a lump as the man slowly unwrapped his arms.

Looking back, the following hours would be all but a blur as he made his way by moonlight, his bare feet crunching on the frozen forest floor. He had no idea how long he had been walking when he saw red neon lights through the trees in the distance. With surprising and renewed strength in his legs, he made several leaping bounds through the woods, coming to a stop in the large parking lot of a truckers bar, not another person in sight. Loud cheers and music escaped from the building as he pulled open the locked driver's side door of an 18-wheeler through sheer strength. He found some spare clothes behind the seat, and, although a few sizes too large, they were a welcome addition to his person. Moments later, as the hotwired rig began to move out of the parking lot, the man's mind was alive and racing with thoughts on where he was going to go, why was he out there, and who he was.

Shaking his head and regaining his focus, he stared out at the highway before him. "All I know right now is that I'm a survivor. I'll sort this crap later, once I've got the lay of the land." He tuned the radio to the clearest classic rock station and tried to calm himself. "Wherever this is, anyway."

Hey, with all these micro-heroes and my lack of skill/software, I'm getting antsy. Would someone like to make a micro of the Spirit of America?

He wears all dark clothing, it doesn't have to be completely black, just really dark. As dark as possible but still preserve details. The only thing that's exposed on his body is his eyes. The reasoning for this is in my App. On the center of his chest, where a hero's logo normally is, sits an American flag.

Shouldn't be too hard I think, but I know I don't have the software(This ain't my comp that I'm using either, so I can't just put whatever programs I want on it)

Also, the game thread will be up either Tonight, or tomorrow. The other mods have the CAH password, so that if I don't get it up by tomorrow night, one of them could post it, just follow the model of the first post in this thread.

Screen name: Harlekin
Character you have created: Space Monkey
Alias: You wouldn't be able to pronounce it. The Hendersons call him Harry.
Speech color: Just plain sienna will do.
Character alignment: Hero
Identity: Secret, I wager.

Character personality:
If one should liken Space Monkey to any other existing fictional character, it would most likely be a mix of Beast (Hank McCoy) from the X-Men and Professor Arturo from Sliders. Space Monkey is a well-read, quickwitted character that has a tendency to randomnly start philosophising. He'll quote you Shakespeare while beating you down, and it's what also gives him a sort of, not misplaced, arrogance. He'll frequently laugh about the "hairless beasts", and has no trouble making a fool out of someone. To close friends, he's a kind and gentle person, but he can still have somewhat of a mean streak to his manner. He also has no trouble pointing out the fact that, although people call him a monkey, he's actually an ape.

Origin:
It is the year 3022.

Apes rule the Earth.

Humans are all but extinct.

One specific ape has just found a wide collection of history books. Books that detail the age of man. As the chief brain of his primate tribe, the elders allow him to keep the books, hoping that he will be able to draw knowledge from them that will be of advantage. However, the books have a slightly different effect on this primate than they intended. As he learns the history and languages of mankind, he also learns of man's best and worst, of which the worst, in a Darwinistic society, is often even better.

History however, as he learns soon enough, is written by the victor.

Believing all humans to be of great intelligence, the primate decides that he must travel back in time in order to live amongst them. You see, because of his genius intellect, this primate quickly became an outcast among his peers. Even though he was able to supply the others with technology that surpassed even those of the last surviving humans, he was shunned socially. Figuring that humans would more naturally accept him, he sees no other possibility for him and creates a one-way time machine that will take him back to the 21st century, a time of great change and development for humans.

He lands in a McDonalds in the city of Metropol.

A robbery is taking place.

He sees his precious humans threatened.

After saving them he learns just how dumb humans really are.

Space Monkey is born.

2. City Level (Ex. Spider-Man, Cyclops)

Powers (be specific): Besides the proportionate strength of an ape his size and age, Space Monkey has no actual powers. What he does have is a lot of technology. His primary mode of travellig is via jetpack, and he has a special space gun that can be set to levels ranging from a simple electric shock to a fatal charge. Beyond that, he just has nifty stuff like goggles with X-ray vision. His most important attribute is of course, his great intellect, which allows him to speak most Earth languages (and be able to learn the others in about a day each) and allowed him to create a time machine.

Attributes:
Strength level: Strength of a full-grown ape!
Speed/reaction timing level: Speed of a full-grown ape!
Endurance at MAXIMUM effort: Endurance of a full-grown ape!
Agility: Agility of a full-grown ape!
Intelligence: Super-genius.
Fighting skill: Untrained, but Space Monkey is a really great brawler.
Resources: Large.

Weaknesses: Space Monkey is not weak to anything specifically, but is vulnerable to the same things that accost ape and human alike. Diseases etc. will affect him physically, but he's also vulnerable to such things as heartbreak. There's no Space Monkey kryptonite though.

Supporting characters:
Sarah Loyd - the journalist that first coins the phrase “Super Monkey”. A ditzy version of Lois Lane mixed in with the sheer stupidity of Sally Floyd make this the worst journalist of the city. If only she hadn’t been such a hottie.

George, Nancy, Sara and Ernie Henderson – offering Space Monkey a place to stay after his adventure at McDonalds, mistakenly thinking he’s their missing Bigfoot, Harry, they quickly become the pets rather than the masters.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:
1. He's a damn dirty ape.
2. He's from the future.
3. He's got a jetpack!

“Would you and your guest like some more tea, Harry?” asked Nancy, the matriarch of the Henderson family, carrying a tray with tea and biscuits. Space Monkey turned to her with a certain disdain.
“Leave, woman.” he responded, taking another tug of his cigar.

Dejected, Nancy turned back out of the room.
“Why, I don’t know what’s gotten into Harry, George. He never talked to me like that.”
“Honey, Harry didn’t talk.”
“Exactly!”

“You were saying, Ms. Loyd?”
“Uhm, yes, well, just after you got the key to the city, you were approached by the Hendersons?”
“Very perceptive of you. They have graciously allowed me entry in their domain, and to their fine collection of books. Good cigars too.”
“They have cigars in 3022?”
“Why, my dear, us apes practically invented them!”
“Ohhhhh.”

Space Monkey rolled his eyes as he took to looking back at the bookcase.

“And will you be patrolling Metropol from now on, Mr. Monkey?”
“For the umpteenth time, I am not Mr. Monkey! And what patrol as what exactly?”
“As a superhero of course!”
“A superhero? How droll.”
“That’s why you came here, didn’t you?”
“No, dear, I came here because I had hoped to learn and speak with your era’s finest minds. Ones I mistakenly thought to be in greater numbers.”
“Why, that’s just fascinating!”
“Oh, I’ve only told you three times now.”
“Well, Mr. Space Monkey, I’ve got to go,” Sarah Floyd said as she got up to leave “I’m sure you’ll keep us at the Weekly Planet in mind?”
“Yes, and why exactly are you referring to me as ‘Space Monkey’ again? I’ve told you, I am from the FUTURE, and I am an APE. Would ‘Time Ape’ not be a more appropriate moniker?”
“Bye Mr. Space Monkey!”

Thanks. Can't wait 'til the game thread comes up. An extra bit about my origin, most of PSDR gets set on fire, I was wondering if it could be an event. So like heroes who had got their powers by then had to put the fire out or something and save the people inside (Like the unconsious Jake Coles).
