Lots,I imagine. Japanese, Russian, English, probably as many as Professor X imported into his head.

Considering his long lifespan and how he's traveled the world, he must have a vast knowledge of a lot of languages. Russian, English, and Japanese as mentioned. Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Thai, and Portuguese among others...The list could go on.

I hate the fact that Wolverine in the comics now looks like he did in the X-Men films.

Sabretooth would stay dead for long. Afterall he is a former Maurarder and Sinister had them all cloned more than once. Im sure in a few years, we will find out that Wolverine killed the clone

I thought it was mentioned in the Gambit first ongoing that Sinister was unable to clone Sabes, something about his wierd DNA...

When I have more time, I can try and dig that out and scan it. I thought it was in an issue where they were sneaking into one of Sinister's hideouts and they were discussing which cloned Mauraders they might come across. Gambit specifically said it could be anyone but Sabes.

You don't really think Marvel is going to pay attention to something that happened in a *Gambit* solo, do you?

The first Gambit ongoing was quite popular from what I understand. Things like that stick in my head since I am such a Sabes fan. I wouldn't be the only to remember it.

Actually that's a mixture of english (the too part) and French (the beaucoup part... I'm certain I didn't spell that correctly). The French were in there as colonizers before us, therefore much of their population were familiar with it and... wait, this is a comic board... never mind.

I went and looked through the Gambit book I was thinking of. I won't bother to scan it - Remy said that Sinister hadn't cloned Sabes at that time because he didn't have his genetic material, not that he couldn't do it at all. I suppose it is possible that the Sabretooth Logan killed could have been a clone.

Previews for #56
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So, am I the only one out there who thinks this is COMPLETE FREAKING RIPOFF of that issue of Preacher where Cassidy is left in a pit while Herr Starr's assasin keeps shooting him while he continually heals?

I heard Joey Q use the word continuity at Comic Con but I know darned good and well that he has NO idea what it actually means. I really wish that someone would point out to lil' Joey and others of his ilk (JMS, Bendis) that there are numbers on these books and that the numbers imply a historical progression of occurances that make up a character's background. (I think I just heard a bunch of guys at Marvel slap their sloping foreheads, "That's what those numbers in the corners are!")

I know Logan is supposed to have been experimented on, but does anyone else think this is just too over the top and pointless? It's getting harder and harder to take Logan seriously with all the crap Marvel's done with him in the last 15 years or so.. Last edited by Canemacar; 08-04-2007 at 06:56 AM. |
