Seriously, Singer should keep Tristan Lake Leabu which they'll end up doing anyway. Not to mention that there's no point in fast forwarding all the way to his teen years.

Why not just keep the current kid, like his character is going to really go anywhere in the meantime except either die or become Superboy in the seventh film. There's no need to recast.
