I hate the stupid thumbnail loading on the new PS3 store, wish they could just background download them to your console without any action from you.

yeah its so slow its annoying, i am only on it periodically though to see if there are any new trailers, but there never is.

I know, poor show by Sony EU, the MS EU store is far better in terms of content.

I prefer items having an actual money cost, as opposed to a points->money cost. Makes it easier to just spend on demand and buy just what you want, oh and makes it easier to remember how much you're spending.

Right, after that, I'm off to ninja a free coffee or two from work, then off to Iron Man, I shall return in zee afternoon, ttfn!

and I'm back from Iron Man

They showed the OLD TDK trailer, but that's sorta ok cos I hadn't seen it on the big screen, also, the new Indy 4 trailer, good stuff.

Alsso, let's get a couple of frivalous points out of the way:

1) Gwyneth Paltrow looks hot, I'd hit it, and so would you
2) Jeff Bridges is looking portly, I think he might have diabeetus.

And on to my review:

It was a really enjoyable and solid film

I kinda saw some of the plot points coming 10 miles off but that didn't stop me having a great time. I like the touches of humor spread throughout the film, esp Paltrow's 'taking out the trash' line haha.

Downey Jr is the film almost, his charisma is like a 50 tonne elephant. I'm not sure how good it would have been with another actor, but as things go, it's downey Jr and it is great like that.

I don't have many critcisms but my one would be that the ending felt kinda rushed.

Ok that's all folks

I'd never really read anything about the character till I knew the movie had come out. Maybe that increased my chance of liking it since I hadn't gotten an idea of how i think the character should be.

It's a good performance, not on par with Arlington Road mind, but quality. To me he seemed to be sleepwalking through it though o0

Yeah, from what I have seen in the trailers, etc... I like the way RD Jr. delivers the lines etc. This seems to be a roll that was tailor made for him. What with his partying past and smart-aleck demenor. I am sure I will enjoy it. Plus, hey it is a night out with the crew. What can be bad about that?

Iron Man wasn't too bad at all, I enjoyed. Unexpectedly, my sister enjoyed it too. Sister's ex liked it too, but he likes anything...

Nice, can't wait to see it. Just from the previews alone, Downey Jr. looks perfect for the role
