The primarily difference is their alter egos. Irons isn't a billionaire or a playboy, for instance.
He does build different technology then his armor, too. In Grant Morrison's JLA run he build some of the Watchtowers defenses, including a weapon system which could lock on to a person's DNA and had a missile which could kill Krytonians.
His suit does have other defenses in its arsenal. It has anti-virus software which can stop Prometheus level computer virii and can use the virii's material to adapt then create ways into the enemy's computer systems with its own computer virii to short it out from the inside. This occured in JLA #17 IIRC.

Compared to Iron Man who has an elaborate history and long standing comics, Steel is like new kids on the block that Batman always steal his thunder. Iron Man is Marvel's most mainstream brain man, Steel doesn't get his due because the Greatest Detective keeps the title for himself.

IM had better action scenes then TF.
People didn't like TF for the story.
It's script was a joke to IM's.

Iron Man movie bad side is because it has not enough action scenes. TF is IM without a good story.

No-one will care about the Iron Man suit if they don't care who's piloting it underneath.
A wooden actor would diminish any scene they are in unless that specific character is meant to be dull in personality. Tony isn't that character it would work for.

Again as I said if you want to have a good enough Robo film just get a wooden actor with cool CGI or action scenes. TF survived, Robocop survived so there's no reason the above scenario won't work. Granted the movie is not gonna be big than if RDJ is Tony.

That's the least a Flash can do in combat.
They can steal an opponent or object's speed effectively turning them into a statue, run on water, run up buildings, create tornedos by swinging their arms incredibly fast, deliver punches which can K.O. White Martians in one hit after running around the Earth a few times, dismantle and make equipment in seconds, hack passwords in seconds by constantly using every password at super-speed until they can the right one, time travel, turn themselves intangible by altering their vibrations (Wally used to blow things up when he ran though objects with this technique), make multiple holographic images to confuse enemies, create a suit of pure energy from the Speed Force dimension and more.
Enemies like Savitar who use the Speed Force are even more creative in using their super-speed. Which they use to the maximum horrific potential.

Ok nice you've shown me some Flash activities that I haven't thought of before. It's all derivatives from superspeed which still I think will get old if it's not done creatively. Running & blurring are not scenes that are fascinating to look at the movie screen and may give sickness to those who are sensitives.
