Seeing how TJ and InfoDroid from OriginalTrilogy.com have dropped Star Wars: Reborn, I'm picking it up under a new project title aimed at a Winter '09 release. It will focus around the storyline of ANH with flashbacks to Attack of the Clones

Prologue

STAR WARS

Turmoil had engulfed the Galactic Senate with several solar systems having declared their intentions to leave the Republic through a Separatist movement lead by the mysterious Count Dooku.

Senator Amidala returned to the Galactic Senate to vote on the critical issue of creating a Grand Army for the Republic to assist the overwhelmed Jedi who were meant to maintain peace and order in the galaxy.

Opening from AOTC where Senator Amidala is attacked

Twenty-two years later...

Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire and it's ultimate weapon, the Death Star, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.

Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Leia races home aboard her starship, custodian of the stolen plans for the Death Star that can help unsure the safety of the Galaxy.

Tantive IV take over, Leia and R2 walk away from each other as the droids leave through the escape pod and Leia is captured. We can assume the other rebels are dead.

The Droids are shortly captured by Jawas and pursued by Troopers.

Droids are sold, after R2 reveals his message about Obi-Wan, Luke talks to Owen about Obi-Wan and Anakin as we see the council calling in Anakin and Obi-Wan to Protect Padme.

Anakin and Obi-Wan save Padme and Obi-Wan jumps onto the droid.

Luke finds out R2 is missing and goes looking for him. Luke looking through binoculars turns into Zam looking through hers. The AOTC chase pursues.

The chase ends as Luke finds R2 and the Raiders. As Luke is knocked out, we cut to the Jedi meeting with Padme and Palpatine. Then we see Padme addressing the senate.

Luke goes with Obi-Wan, shows R2's message and as he explains the old republic we get flash backs of AOTC. (Example; Anakin and Obi-Wan on Genosis ending with the Senate deciding on the Clone Army.)

Round table scene mentioning the end of the Old Republic.

Council gives Anakin and Obi-Wan their mission. Palpatine and Anakin speak. Obi-Wan says goodbye to Anakin at station. Anakin has a dream about his mother and says he needs to return. Train arrives and the edited love scene is inserted here.

Short silent scenes of Anakin finding out what happened to his mother then cut to Luke and Obi-Wan finding out the troupes have tracked the droids to the Jawas. Luke races to the speeder as Anakin frees his mother. CONTINUE WITH ALREADY EDITED SCENE

Now we get to the Mos Eisley introduction and how Obi-Wan mentions that there are Pilots in there. Here we find out what happened after the chase scene, consider this a Terentino move. Obi-Wan and Anakin enter the club to find the hiding hitman, cut back to Luke’s argument as we see someone approaching and then a lightsaber ignites to defend Luke and capture the hitman. The hitman is taken outside with the “who hired you” bit before she’s killed.

Back to present, Obi-Wan brings Luke to Han for negotiations. Imperial troops enter. Then we see Vader about to interrogate Leia. Han and Greedo scene.

Vader and Tarkin decide for Alderaan as the next target. Obi-Wan and Luke come to falcon. Then Han and the others take off. Falcon is being persued then they jump to light speed.

Death Star Scene, Leia is brought to see Alderaan blow up. Inside Millenium falcon, Obi-Wan falls to ground, Luke continues practicing. Tarkin and Vader find out Leia lied as the Falcon enters the system. The Falcon is lured into the Death Star. Vader says he hasn’t sensed that feeling in a long time.

Obi-Wan is captured while explaining the situation and some senators decide Palpatine should receive emergency power for the Clone Army to attack. Anakin and Padme arrive on Geonosis and enter the factory. A shortenned facotry scene with the capture. The Senate votes on the clone army. Anakin and Padme in the arena with Obi-Wan “Good Job” At “let the executions begin” the execution begins. Once Obi-Wan is cut loose...

The rebels get out and take over a bunker. They find out where the tractor beam is and Obi-Wan leaves. Han and Luke find where Leia is and they set out to find her. Luke Han and Chewie secure the area as Luke finds Leia’s cell. “I’m here to rescue you, I’m here with Ben Kenobi” Scene continues regularly.

Vader saying Obi-Wan is back. As the rebels begin their battle, and they’re all doing their fighting. Execution continues. Anakin, Padme and Obi-Wan are cornered by droids while the waste is being crushed, all of a sudden Threepio turns off the garbage. Saber comes on as the Jedi have entered the arena.

All the Jedi fighting from AOTC up until the Han runs into an army of troops is going back and forth. Now the battle scenes continue up until the lightsaber battle of Darth Vader Vs Obi-Wan. Flashes are made back to Obi-Wan and Anakin Vs Dooku. Once Yoda comes into the room, he drops his cane, pulls out his lightsaber and jumps at the screen. We won't see the rest of this battle until ESB. Darth Vader Vs. Obi-Wan finishes off.

In the ship, as they try to leave death star with the short Dog Fight. As they land on Yavin, Dooku lands on Coruscant with the plans of the Death Star to give to his master as we see the plans in ANH on Yavinn. Then final attack on the Death Star will be focused solely on the scene alone. And to finish we get the whole “Begun the clone war has” with clone troopers assembling scene.

The final scene will be the Marriage and the celebration and it kills me to do this but I must get rid of the score played here. I know it's very classic, but we need to remember it's a rebirth and that in all reality, if you were to see this NOW in theatres you would hate this scene due to it being too cheasy.

After much consideration and meditation, I've decided I'll be changing most of the music from the films. This isn't a "ORIGINAL!!!! OMGZ!" project. It's a reinvention, a rebirth. A Renascence. So that said, I've got gigs upon gigs of music selections. A lot of the music will be from Hans Zimmer and there will also be music from Immediate Music aswell as some music from a few video games. That's not to say I will be removing ALL of the Star War music (music staying: Opening Crawl, Closing Credits, Empire/Dark Side theme, Jedi/Force theme, Across the Stars) some stuff will stay and be recycled into different places as well. With the scenes cutting back and forth, the atmosphere of the film might get a little messed up so I'm going to make the emotions of the scenes stick out a lot more by using the music.

By the way, Luke and Leia's kiss is cut

I have a bunch more albums to go through still.

I'm gonna see if I can get someone else to do the DVD after words. I'll provide the Deleted Scenes and Actual Film as well as a few possible featurettes. That person would only have to do Subtitles, collecting the clips for the menu and assembling it. I should be finished editing after about 6 months. Then I'll give the DVD creator another 6 months to work on the DVD and once I know it's completed, I'll be doing some quick 30 second spots for people until the release.

And just another update: I got ANH ripped to my pc in 100% quality. I have to rip the audio now and then do the same for AOTC

The audio and video for ANH is finally ready, as is the video for AOTC. I'm coverting AOTC audio into 12 waves. (for some reason I got 2 AC3s.... I think one of them might be for the opening logos... not sure yet.)

EDIT: The second AC3 was for the last few minutes of the credits so I didn't bother with that. So yeah, everything's ready. This week the editing commences. Expect the first trailer sometime this month!

Outline in first post finalized. Final decisions: I got rid of the Kamino Clone conspiracy crap, Tyranus's long and unnecessary monologue is also cut, Jango/Boba Fett is only in a breef seen from afar. So this is a short cameo and we know Obi-Wan is persuing him but he gets apprehended. I'm going to leave it open so he can just be another Mandalorian Inspired Bounty Hunter, he could be Jango and he could be Boba. Regardless, the bounty hunter doesn't lose his head. Also, C3PO will not be in the flashbacks. Maybe in the background, but it is never said to be him. Consider it a foreshadowing and that's it.

So much for Christmas 09... I found a crap load of errors, went back and fixed it, rendered it again, found more erros and rendered it again. Finally finished now and I made a trailer too to keep people satisfied until I get the DVD Menu finished.

I found a crap load of errors, went back and fixed it, rendered it again, found more erros and rendered it again.
