I hear you on that my friend! Jesus, Frank Castle on the screen by fans. Not people that read the character for a role prep or to brush up on history before filming the movie, people that actually know of the character & grew up with him. That'd be sweet. I say we hire Tom Savini to do the Jigsaw make-up, lol!
Also, I was just watching life on mars, and I think Jason Omara can make a good Jigsaw.

Savini is retired. You gotta go with KNB Effects.

I don't think there is a head shot that looks as real or as good as the one from Maniac.
A bit of trivia, Savini was actually the one to shoot his fake in that scene. |

I was watching Tears of the Sun and I really think Johnny Messner would make a great Frank Castle.

Savini is a brilliant effects guy. Another bit of trivia. He was a photographer in Vietnam and used what he saw to create his effects, such as exploding heads and limbs dismemberment.

I would love Thomas Jane back. But the audience would probably think "Wtf?" First Jane, then Stevenson and then Jane again.

Yeah, I remember him saying that on the commentary for the Burning dvd. Savini's effects really hit home, because he used alot of cut shots between the real object & the fake. One minute the axe goes through the door, and then when it hits the actual person, that makes it even more intense.

You should watch some of the documentaries for Dawn of the Dead. He came up with some real inventive ways to make things look very real. Especially the machete to the head and neck area.

Yeah, FYE has a halloween sale and they have a special edition of Dawn of the dead. I'll have to look that up. They have interviews with the entire cast & crew, aswell as a making of feature with Savini. He did some real kick ass effects. The prowler was also a good movie with Tom's effects.

Yeah, he does look like Parlov's Castle. Giamatti as Micro would be awesome, an actor like him can really help out with development for Castle. So if Giamatti is in, you'd need an equally good actor to play Frank. Also, hope you're dojng all right. What happend?

I don't really remember,I passed out and woke up in a ****ing hospital bed, apparently I had a bad case of mono, the worse my doc has seen in 20 years, and It turned into hepatitus A,wich sucks...anyways hmmmm,Maybe if Giamatti played micro, then either Cristopher Lambert as frank,or Chris Melloni.

Quit kissing strange women and you won't have that next time. Glad to know you are ok though.
I always liked John Billingsley for Micro and always said that when the 2004 movie was in preproduction. ![]() Cole Houser as Jigsaw ![]() Bea Arthur as Ma Gnucci

![]() Anyways John Billingsley would be a great choice as Micro,If He Grew a Beard He would look just like the micro from in the beginning, and great cast choices by the way,I'd Like to see some old School Villains,Like the hitman,The jackal, and some others.I'd like to see Gary Busey as bushwaker,Timothy Olyphant as Elite, hmmmmm, maybe johnny depp as the holy? |

It's a hard casting job isn't it?
Tom Jane was AWESOME, I watch that flick all the time and every time I do I appreciate all that he put into that performance. There won't be another Punisher film. Pretty sure. |

Has anyone ever seen this knife before and can it really be used on a bayonet? It is said that it can fit together with a AK47 rifle. Maybe it is a copy of some old military knife that was used back in one of the wars? The website that it is on is www.lducompany.com I am wondering if it can fit on any other types of guns or rifles. Does it look like something that would be used by Chinese, Koreans, or Russians. Here is a link to the knives page http://www.liangdianup.com/knives_1.htm and it is the knife with the number 406023 right at the top of the page.Any help would be appreciated before I order it all the way from China

Personally i think Thomas Jane was a kick ass inthe punisher but they ousted him cause he basically told marvel that there script sucked and pretty much he and the director from the last one rewrote the movie the true way it should be and they couldn't deal with it so they got rid of them both. I think truthfully that is the 2nd biggest mistake marvel has made movie wise (the first being the first hulk movie still don't know what they were thinking) Thomas was the punisher i just hope the new guy dosen't screw things up
