I sure hope not. They are beyond that and it would be a big step backwards. I dont mind seeing them wearing variations of the color scheme but I want new costumes

I remember when Cannonball joined the X-Men the first time around and had a costume similar to Cyclops.

The blue and yellow costumes have always been part of X-Men history though...

True, the color scheme has but that specific costume had more than just the colors in common. Alot of the same elements are seen with only slight variations

Same with the Yellow and Blue costumes pretty much though. It's sorta become the X-Men uniform.

True, but I'm sure they're not the only 3 to have that detail, or that that detail is the only redone one.

My favourite New Mutants period was when Bill Sienkiewicz was doing the art.

His art was odd yet effective. I liked that era too and it was New Mutants at its peak

Looking forward to this new one...with reservations. I don't have much faith in Marvel these days.

![]() MARVEL SPOTLIGHT: NEW MUTANTS Written by JOHN RHETT THOMAS When the New Mutants burst onto the scene during the early ’80s, they gave young readers an insight into the life of teenage mutants living in the shadow of the world-beating X-Men. For many at the time, Dani, Rahne, Sam, Roberto and Shan weren't just new mutants — they were OUR mutants! And for the next decade, we thrilled along with their exploits as they honed their powers and became bona-fide heroes among the various teams of X-Men. Now, in the wake of X-INFERNUS, the classic lineup of New Mutants is back together again! Join MARVEL SPOTLIGHT as we have a blast covering 25 years of great storytelling and exciting action, and look forward to the lives of our heroes as told by writer Zeb Wells and artist Diogenes Neves. It'll be a New Mutants classic! 32 PGS./Rated T+ …$2.99
