Would it make more sense to cast actual twins or a big star in a dual role? Who would you like to see? Considering they are one of my favorite parts about Cobra, I'm curious to see what a lot of you think.

Have they done anything apart from 'The Matrix' series? I don't recall them having any lines either. So I haven't seen enough of them to form a decision.

Could work to a degree but they don't come off as tough enough for the Crimson Guard commanders.

But thats the thing about the Crimson Twins, you need an actor (or actors) who look more like pretty boys then badasses.

Agreed, but it has to be a balance of pretty and tough.

No because it would then ruin the look of "these guys just look like nothing but turn out to be able to kick all kinds of ass".
I would have cast either the London bros or Jude Law in a dual role.

Xamot & Tomax were always tough looking yet a bit pansy-like. Any pretty boy with a scar is going to get some tough points, that can't be helped but going too pretty is a mistake IMO. |

I believe they even played up what I was referring to in the cartoon when they first showed up.
Anyways, thats why the London bros are my perfect picks for the crimson twins.

I could see Jude Law doing it if he was on his bufferer side for the film.

I have always loved G.I. Joe and have always wanted to be the one to bring it to the big screen, and like all the movies I would love to make, the way I would cast is a mix of A-list talent and talent that dosen't get recognized and would therefore come without the million dollar price tag.
For the Crimson Twins I had always been split 2 ways: Jude Law in the dual role for the A list cred or the London Bros. for the good talent coming cheap. Either way, would be a winning situation. I should really throw up my cast list for this in one of these threads.

James Marsden as the leaders of the Crimson Guard. He was terrific in...27 Dresses. My sister wanted to see it, and it was much less bad than the usual date film.

To me they have an aristocratic pompous air to them that I would suppose would come off as being pansies. They should also be able to look intelligent since they are shrewd businessmen.
The answer is clear: Bea Arthur |

I definitely love the idea of Cillian as the Crimson Twins (if only because I want to see him play a pair of twins)!

I go with the idea of an accomplished actor playing 2 roles since with todays movies effects that wouldnt be a prob. For the role of Tomax and Xamot I would HAVE to say Tommy Flanagan, who was in Gladiator, When a Stranger Calls and many others, he just has a good face for the part in my opinion.
