Yeah, that was a cool theme that Waid ran with for the first couple arcs of the post-Heroes Reborn series. Cap literally rose from the dead--again--and the public, who already adored him beyond all other heroes, went bats*** insane and rocketed his celebrity status into the stratosphere. Meanwhile, Cap's like, "Yeah, it was a weird situation, but can we get back to just me helping people out instead of being an idol?"
