Default TV Shows You've Given Up On.

Have you ever given up on a TV show?

I have...

Heroes. (after the opener of season 3)

Lost. (after the finale of season 2)

24 (Again, after the opener of season 3)

Your turn.

Say why if you want to...

...other than I am pretty choosy on what I watch. I don't watch Heroes, Smallville, etc.

Smallville, although I'll occasionally watch an episode here and there
I've almost given up on Heroes, really not sure why I still watch it
I'm getting somewhat tired of 24, it's still good, but not nearly as fresh anymore.

Prison Break (Lost interest a little into season 3)

The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Watched season 1. Just didn't bother with season 2))

I insist that you reconsider.

Anyway, I've given up on Terminator: the sarah connor chronicles. It's sad, but I'm just bored with it now.

Hehe! Yeah, I've been told it's supposed to've gotten really good again but it's been so long... Then again, Brian K. Vaughan's involved these days so... Maybe.

Eureka. Just sort of lost interest about halfway through the first season, tried to pick it up again in the second, then lost interest again after a few more episodes.

I gave up on Prison Break after the first season. It was great and I tried to watch the 2nd season, but It just didn't seem and I lost interest.

I gave up Chuck half way through the first season. It just didn't keep me invested enough.

Bones after the first season as well. I think it is a good show, but it conflicts with other thing I watch at or around the same time slot.

I am a hair away from giving up on TSCC. They are trying my patience with the constant character over development. It better have a big payoff at the end of the season or I'm done.

I quit Heroes and Sarah Conners after a few episodes each. They just didn't seem like worthwhile investments of my time. I do not regret the decisions.

Yeah, I gave up on Bones after a while, too. I don't even know what day it's on now, but when I used to watch it, I always used to record it while I watched something else and then come back to Bones. It was all right but after a while I just didn't really feel like going back and watching it so I stopped.

Heroes - How people still watch this crap I have no idea.

24 is close, but I might ride the rest of this season out.

I am not totally sure I can stomach another season of Smallville, but I might try.

Heroes: gave a few season 3 episodes a chance, but then I quit

My Name Is Earl: again, season 3, but not particularly because it got bad. I just lost interest

Smallville: I think I quit midway through season 4. I actually stopped liking it somewhere in season 2, but stuck around because I didn't think it could last much longer. How wrong was I

Fringe: I think I got to episode 4. I really liked the father and son characters, but everyone else was bland, and the show was so formulaic it was painful.

Smallville - Somewhere during Lana's magic storyline. It was years ago. I just remember

Heroes - When they turned Hiro ten years old. Up until that point, I thought it could be redeemed, but then I realized they really were lost.

LOST - When Michael shot Libby and that other girl I liked. Wasting good characters on pointless character assassination was too much to ask from me.

That was a mistake. It's gotten better each episode.

That's usually the case with Whedon shows, i find... You need to give the characters time to grow and develop at their own pace.

Heroes: Worst of the offenders cause season one was amazing.
Sarah Connor Chronicles: After the first few episodes, meh.
Smallville: Some time in the middle of season three. Then when I tried to again... Witches. F--king witches.
Prison Break: They broke the prison... the story wasn't interesting after that, no matter how hard they tried.
24: The first time in the first season.... maybe it would have been a little more interesting if it didn't start when everyone was asleep. And a few times randomly in the later seasons whenever I tried to start again.
Monk: Woooooof, did that get bad fast or what.
House: It's called House... not 13. F--king idiot writers.
The Simpsons: A looooong time ago
Chuck: I found better things on during its time slot.
My Name is Earl: Just didn't care anymore.
The Office: On and off. It's no longer that great to me. Some things are funny but not enough to make me go out of my way to watch it.
