It's weird, because RT is tearing apart the movie, but those clips, even though they are obviously WIP, make the movie look like it'll be really good.

What I don't get is if the script is the problem, why don't they catch that by getting some good critiques before starting filming?
I mean, someone was stupid enough to think of Barakapool in the first place, but where were the editors when they should be catching these crazy things that slip into the script when the writer's had too much to drink? Grrr . . . .

half the critics don't seem to like this film, but most of the general audience seems to like it, those who have seen the final cut that is.

I remember the original script getting a lot of bad reviews, so good scripts obviously aren't Fox's top priority.

Heck, I'd write a script for free just to see it made into a movie, and I'm sure a lot of other fans would love to as well. These guys need to put their priorities in order. A good plot makes or breaks a movie, imo.
