Ironhide and someone Sam cares about. Prime and Sam both losing a friend would make for a powerful angle to play with.

Bumblebee should die. Sam in a state of extreme grief and rage transfers his mind into the body of a Transformer (Headmasters) to take revenge on the Decepticons....
He decides to stay on Cybertron to rebuild it and Mikalea on earth is his only connection to humanity (His parents die in a car crash before the movie begins). Imagine a 70 foot robot going... NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! AHH!!! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!
