Bay thinks Fox could be a little more grateful, though.
"Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers," he says. "I like to think that I've had some luck in building actors' careers with my films."

If this is true, then this is just the typical 'high' of fame going to someones head. Once she became a household name, she dumped BAG and now is spitting on the franchise that made her famous in the first place.......

Mayhaps so. She's seemingly picking on the acting aspect of movies and not the actors (as far as careers go), but eh. I don't see what her deal is, though, since it's not like she's great at acting anyway. I can understand if she IS great at it and then maybe is slamming on Bay for not recognizing it, but um, she isn't great at acting. So she is being used in other ways. as much as I agree, in her defense I do think she gets knocked on her acting a lot and what she said may have been a (misguided) attempt at defending her stance

I mean if everyone is telling you that "you didn't do much acting in transformers, you better thank your lucky stars that you're pretty."
The simplest response would be, that the movie isn't about acting.

either way, it's something she faces more then say Shia

and I've heard other cast members say similar things all in good fun.

That would actually be an interesting concept, the POTUS has to literally go into action on his own and save the country or the world from some threat. Not like ID4, but where he's the star of the show.
