they can do an origin story, all this means is theyll have to pay the families a bit more to use it, which shouldnt be difficult. I mean SR had a budget of 250million, get a director who actually knows what hes doing he could make a superman movie for 150 million and make it look just as good and have it actually include a supervillian

I been saying the same thing really the best thing for next film if its full on reboot with origins i hope all counting on how much it would cost wb/dc to use it from the siegels that is. Having everything clean slate new look, set, story, writers/directors/cast. Would help make the film have a better chance at getting ahold of new viewers and getting supes fans butts into the seats and all that. So then the story/actors wouldnt have to be forced to be like something from before and they can take the characters to new heights and all that.

This sucks for the fans. W.B. has never been one to give updates in the BEST of times. How much worse will it be now, lol.

I'd cut WB some slack. Look at how quickly WB is getting GL out! So far too it looks like it could be awesome. In the 10 years it took to develop Superman, GL could have 3 films out.

True there. Hopefully we fans dont get screwed in the end and like i was saying in the siegel/shuster thread last night. Hopefully what my comic shop owner guy was telling me will be what happens and wb/dc wont loose the character and it will stay their. Only time will tell.

i would like that too, with a good story invovled also. I dont want it to just be all action with no heart.
