Well, at this point I can't believe you seriously think of yourself as a person able to work professionally in moviemaking, since you don't give a damn about anyone who thinks differently than you and consider a joke my idea just because it's not some stupid origin.
BTW, in a recent interview, James McTeigue recently said that the origins are untouchable. http://splashpage.mtv.com/2009/08/24...-to-go-darker/ So, do yourself a favor and discuss like a man about my propose. |

Alright. Seriously. I like the story but it's already an animated movie and the chances that it will be translated to the big screen are zero. Bad idea.
BTW, I don't want to work professionally in moviemaking. |

As I recall, to work professionally in moviemaking, you have to be an idiot right?

^Well in Hollywood you kind of fail upwards, so I suppose anyone on this board who wanted it, has as much chance of becoming a Hollywood producer as say.. a hairdresser.

The one difference between ROTS working in comic form compaired to a film is the simple fact that back in the day and even know if somebody jumps in at the end of a major story they can just go to a comic shop and get back issues or just pick up the tpb. With a movie there is no movie to go back and watch. And to expect people who don't read and will probaly never read comics to go buy back issue or tpbs is like asking the viewers to do their homework before watching the movie. And why bother spending hundreads of millions of dollars to make a film when they can do what they did with Superman: Doomsday and make a low budget DTV cartoon. This might could have worked in place of Superman: Returns because viewers would have the other movies to fall back on as with SR. But as a staring point for a new franchise I just don't see how it would work.
