MOS Petition

Please don't post if you don't want to see MOS. Isn't there anything we can do to pursuade WB to see the error of their ways? We don't need a new franchise with probably another origin story. Just make some changes and continue the franchise. Routh is a great Superman, Kevin Spacey was a great, darker Luthor (although his scheme in SR was a bit dumb), Bosworth was a good Lois; there's so much potential for a kick-ass sequel. Back a year or so ago, the idea being floated by Singer and his writers was to have Superman battle Braniac and Lex would probably manipulate things from the background, possibly the political realm; that sounds freakin awesome. Routh would kick so much ass as Superman in a fight. If enough people post here and show interest, we could start a petition; fans can get things done.

Actually, here's a link to a French Petition from another board on the site. The petition is to keep Routh but at least it's a step in the right direction.

And agreed, WB should do the sequel. There is so much potential in SR for bigger and more exciting sequels. And yes, Brandon and Kevin rock as Supes and Lex. I Want them back.

Well I am all for B. Routh returning as Clark/Superman. I don't think Singers stinking pile of excrement should be associated to Brandon. Bring back Brandon and for God's sake NOT Singer.

I prefer a sequel than a reboot also. Singer direction was great and Brandon Routh was perfect as Superman, they just need some changes and a good script.

See i disagree with this. Weve seen him a lot but aside from smallville weve never seen him done right on the big screen at least. I saw have him in there but keep him as the background villain. oh and dont take this as me signing.

I think it is still easier to make a sequel to SR than to start from scratch, and most of GA will support it, just make villain darker, raise the stakes, more action, better special effects, and a good story.

Also change suit design a bit, make it brighter, and get a new director, add new characters, and Presto ! A hit superman movie.

Small online petitions don't work imo.

However, what I believe would work? If fans would chip in donations of $5 or more, until enough money is reached to have a plane fly in front of WB headquarters and skywrite "\S/ movie ?" err something.

I agree, a spectacular opening with a new look Routh in a new look suit and a new supervillain, Bingo!!!
