95% of the topics have nothing to do with The Dark Knight. There's threads about Obama, PC games, 9/11, and Peter Jackson's favourite song?!?!?

There are two main reasons why it gets so much hate.

1. All the crazy/immature/bandwagon fanboys got on everyone's nerves with hype to where I think a lot of casual fans/moviegoers were a bit burnt out on the film before it was even released.

2. When it comes to fanboys/film geeks on the internet, anything that is getting a lot of praise and or hype will get knocked down and torn apart just so those 'haters' can think they are intelligent because they're not following the 'mindless majority'. It's a BS way of thinking you have high standards/good taste.

The only thing I hated about this film was Bale's Batman voice. It really took me out of the scenes when I heard it (especially at the end). Other than that, I loved every minute! I'll never forget how I felt at that midnight showing. I literally smiled everytime The Joker was on the screen, I couldnt help it!

Guys, I was a IMDB'er for a long time, and you have to understand, they have discussed everything there. There is nothing else to talk about. So we just talk about anything we want. Although I don't go there anymore.

TDK is a masterpiece. So much I don't mind to find a couple of details in it that I would want to improve. But it's a masterpiece.

The only reason why it brought in over $1B was because a bunch of us went to see it half a dozen times, and everybody else was fooled by the hype...

Yeah right. It was a great movie for both batfans and those who are not. True, nothing is going to be to everyone's taste and people are entitled to there opinion. I liked BB slightly more than TDK, but TDK was also an awesome movie IMHO.

Little things on Earth are more boring and meaningless than Internet haters for a movie, which exist for practically every movie ever produced and in this case usually come from people with a clear bias against it - Marvel fanboys, burtonites, etc. - or the usual frustrated writers/directors who infest the Internet taking out their personal failures on those who actually got there.

It happens, but in 99,99999% of the cases these Internet haters - particularly the very nitpicky and insistent ones - fall into one of the described categories. As Joker pointed out, IMDB, and AICN as well, are basically hate centrals, probably because other people are actually writing, directing, producing, etc., and they´re just b****ing on the Internet.

I loved the movie, and quite frankly I don't CARE what anyone else thinks. There will always be those who don't like what I like, and that's fine.I do think, though, that there are those who will trash a movie just to be contrary. Their opinion is even more irrelevant to me.
