Hey Guys, I thought it was about time to start a new thread, as the stuff in the beginning of my old thread doesn't even begin to show my abilities. Hope nobody protests.

Anywho. Down to the goods.

Some might remember this little redesign of supergirl i did a couple weeks back.

Well, i've been toying with it a little.
Here's a quick progress shot of what i've been working on.

Having some fun with it. Hope you guys dig it so far.

Your take on Supergirl is very interesting. I love the flow of your pencil lines and the grace of the poses.

Thanks B-Man.

I'm drawing this with my wacom tablet directly into Photoshop. It's much quicker than scanning. plus it allows me to draw things on separate layers so that I can move things around.

Oh right, I've tried drawing with my tablet, but it's so hard.lol I tried layers and things but I can't get my head around it, I've looked at guides and stuff,

Tablet takes some getting used to. You certainly don't pick it up and it becomes as intuitive as a pencil. takes playing around with to get the feel for it. Keep playing with it, and it'll end up saving you lots of time in the long run.

Update:

Most of the linework is finished. Forgot the rest of Alan Scott's cape, and the wings on Jay's helm. but i'll hopefully fix those. Had a temp background in there, but wasn't digging it, so i left it out for this update.

hey guys, here's my submission for round two of the fanart competition. i've got the linework mostly done. gotta work on his visible hand a bit. trying to come up with a method of coloring that doesn't take me ages. don't have that much time to put into it.

Bonus points to anyone who can tell me what's going on in the scene....

That's much KAD. I've been trying a lot to up the ante a bit lately with the amount of characters and composition and depth. all things that are great strengths of yours.

I'm not going to lie though, those pieces take me way too much time. I kinda prefer just sitting down and sketching out a character redesign or something.

That's man. Speaking of styles. Yours is great.
I spent a long time trying to refine stylistically how i draw. Drawing in large part from Bruce Timm and Cheeks Galloway. I've still got a long way to go.

Went to see Iron Man 2 this weekend. So when thinking of something to draw, I quickly landed on Black Widow. This is a pretty quick sketch. Hope someone digs it. thanks.
