Although its not really an Easter Egg, but i love the continues references to the Demon in the Bottle storyline.
Drunk Tony, him not really being fully able to operate his own suit with Rhody going out of his way to teach him a lesson and all of that. Reason i love these movies so much, is that they hold a great balance of being made for the viewing audience and for the hardcore comic book fan base that gets all these little references. Plus it makes it great DVD/Blu-Ray films to watch and just pause and get these little Easter Eggs.

Okay, just saw the movie this morning:
Not so much an easter egg as a reference, but Howard Stark's expos, and his penchant for explanatory videos of his world of tomorrow, is extremely similar to Walt Disney, his involvement with the World's Fair, his amusement parks and his original idea for Epcot. Could anyone make out the headlines of the various papers and magazines that flashed by in the film?

The Stark Expo films totally reminded me of the Walt Disney films about Disneyland and Epcot. The music at the Expo sounded like something you'd hear at Epcot too.
I caught the Culver University reference. And besides Cap's shield, I also saw a few Captain America comics among the stuff Tony was taking out of his dad's cast.

I wish 90% of the people posting in this thread bothered scouring through said thread before repeating easter eggs.
Seems like we've exhausted them anyways. |

I'm sure this was mentioned (I did not check through 6 pages) but it was great to see a Hulk reference:
Towards the end of the movie when Tony and Nick were at the SHIELD safehouse talking about his Black Widow's psych profile on Tony, the news brief on the television monitor was the female Asian reporter reporting about the Hulk incident at Culver University... they showed about 3 clips from that... I thought that was really cool. That would mean that based on the timeline when Tony appeared at the end of Incredible Hulk, the events that took place in Iron Man 2 had already occured...

But the events at the end of TIH did not happen right after the final fight either, it was basically interpreted that Banner finding control of his rage and the Stark/Ross meeting happened some time after the Hulk/Abomination fight.

When Banner presumably gains control of the Hulk, the screen reads "Days without Incident: 31" before his eyes go green.
So if TIH is happening roughly around the same time as IM2, then a month has passed since both the Whiplash/IM/WM AND Hulk/Abomination by the time Tony Stark goes to see General Ross.

I'm still trying to find what the latest news is with Mr. Norton/Hulk. Does anyone know?

Norton said its a matter of timing. If Marvel approaches him, he'll do it if his busy schedule allows him to.

Not getting Norton would be a huge mistake .
These aren't really easter eggs but I thought it was cool they used younger photos of Rourke and Downey Jr. |

as much as i like Norton, out of the actors being chosen for the Avengers movie (him, RDJ, the two Chris(s)), I think he would be the most difficult to deal with.

Ok I looked through this discussion and didn't see anyone mention this. IDK if it was just me, but i thought that at the end of the movie, like the scene right BEFORE the credits

Now we're just tossing out ideas here.
So I saw Wolverine at the beginning at the Star Expo. He was trying to cheer on Tony when he landed in the stadium, but all you could hear was metal clanking against metal. |
