I think people should buy comics of characters that they like instead of being negative (like Dread) about it's potential demise... if people reacted like Dread does, then no new comics will ever survive beyond 12 issues.
While I haven't read the Black Widow, if it's a good book, hopefully, people will start picking it up in spite of a few narrow-minded views (that will be defended as being "realistic views"  ).
