I always thought it was just a gag. Since, you know, Adventures in Babysitting takes place in the movie's version of "reality" and Thor is a fictional character.

yea I understand that (obviously) but how cool would it be if someone behind the making of the movie (or one of the writers) was a huge Thor fan and decided to throw him in for a quick cameo
if not, the fanboy in me is just going to believe that it is
