Default Costume question

I plan on making a Captain America WWII era costume, but I seem to have come to a stumbling block. I can't seem to find the right WWII era army jacket to convert to what I need.

I know I don't HAVE to post a picture, but do any of you guys know a good site to find something close to this....

I've googled, Amazon'd (which is where I found the goggles and replica helmet) and ebay'd...but, nothing.

I'd be grateful for any help.

Hmmm. Don't know.

On another note. Does anyone remember the issues back when Cap wore a type of armor? (I think he wore it back in the 90's but i'm not sure.) I wanted to go back and read those again.

Are you talking about making or finding a "real" US Army jacket? Here is a Ebay website that describes some tips on how to make them. --

Hope this helps.
