Carly in the Cartoons

You know, I never realized that the Carly character was in the cartoons. I saw the cartoons, but I just don't remember her. If that is the case, than I guess this new girls is fine if Bay is trying to put some connection between the movie to the cartoons. So, I guess Mikela was a made up character.

Yeah, Sam, Ron, and Carly have been the only human characters from G1. Mikaela, Lennox, Epps, Simmons, and Leo are all unique to the movies.

Sam & Ron are made up names for the live action movie, Spike & Sparkplug Whitwicky were their names on the Transformers cartoon.

Sam Witwiky is a mixture of the brothers Buster and Spike Witwiky. Ron is a version of Sparkplug Witwiky minus the machanic ability. Carly was Sam's wife and mother of Daniel in G1 but Daniel is the son of Buster and Jesse in other versions. Also in other cartoons their is an ally of the Autobots named Mikaela but I think she is unrelated to the movie character.

There was one other human from the G1 cartoon series. His name was Chip. He was the computer nerd type who was in the wheelchair.

If he did then he's a fool.

Same is the movie-vers counterpart for Spike...but they certainly are not the same character.

Its like saying Mirror universe Kirk is the same character as the main stream universe Kirk.

A character is the sum total of his experiences as seen on the shows/movies/books they appear in.

Sam may be the movie-verse counterpart of G1 Spike.............but that doesnt equate to G1's Spike's real name being Sam.

More like you just cant formulate a reasonable argument.

Fact is,while G1's Spike and Sparkplug may be nicknames, the real names of the characters, if they had any, were never revealed.

What could they have been????Who knows.

Steve,Stew,Salvatore.......hell any name with an S is possible, and thats if we assume that his name must have started with an S.

Sam & Ron are indeed ,made up names for the live action movie.And the writers from the live action films do not have the power to retroactively rename G1 characters.

Hated him. What i hated was that he made the Transformers, a highly advanced and sofisticated race of beings, look like idiots when it came to technology.

Yep pretty much, Carly ends up becoming Spike's wife and they have a son named Daniel Witwicky.
