Default Interest in an X3 Alternate Edit Blu Ray/DVD?

Would anyone be up for making an alternate edit of the film? Im very new to this and have no experience in the technology used, or programs used to edit films. Can anyone help me with this? it would be greatly appreciated! The deleted scenes on the blu ray of X3 are in perfect HD quality, Is there a way to rip the scenes and re edit the movie? Please if you are interested contact me at Spidey2007@hotmail.com and we can work together. I know MANY people who would be interested in this, so you know what that means...

Im talking a major re edit, inserting deleted scenes and replacing scenes with alternates and alternate endings. Eliminating goofy sound effects (such as the bowling pin noise juggernaut creates in the final battle) and goofy lines that disrespect X-men (Juggernaut ******!??) No alteration of CGI needed. Just scene edits and a more serious cut to fall in line with the first 2 movies.

This film has the potential to be an amazing epic, it just needs the right editing and care. Lets make Wolverine less of a leader, lets not have Rouge take the cure, lets extend what was suppose to be an epic final battle. We can make this a film that true X-Fans can take seriously, and not be some popcorn fluff! Lets have a film that at least lives up to the trailers! If anything, lets just talk about it and get the ball rolling. I HAVE to find someone to do this.

Default Re: Interest in an X3 Alternate Edit Blu Ray/DVD?

I've done some edit work on films/tv, and I considered doing one for X3 before I decided it was too far gone to save.

I don't know a lot really. I used DVDfab to rip the files off the disc, and edited them with Adobe Premiere Pro. It can be a lot of fun, and also a nightmare lol.

fanedit.org is a great site where members upload their own edits. I think an X3 one has been done on there, amongst many others. Could be worth checking that site out, I think they have some "how to's" too.

EDIT: I checked and the only X3 edit I see is an extended one, so there's definately room for more of an edit.
