A case where the theatrical version is nearly 3 hrs long and still awesome(well depending on opinions of course).....But they release a limited-time DVD/Blu-Ray extended/director's cut where it's like 3 and a 1/2 hrs long But it's even much better for many cause of extended&more action scenes with a whole lot of more character build up!
I'm sure hardcore fans would go crazy for it/would become kinda a collector's item(I have not bought LOTR on Blu-Ray cause the extended ones are only on DVD and so there pretty priceless for me)/and new fans from the general audience may be into it too! |

Nolan's track record shows he doesn't do directors cuts. I believe he has been quoted (paraphrased): "the movie you see is the movie I wanted."
I like the idea, but don't think it could happen. |
