This is a very weird coincidence. I didn't type the above post, I haven't been here for a long time, and yet here I am, twice.

It's this stupid new Thread Manager program the site owners started. Every time a thread gets to 1000 posts or an old thread over 1000 posts is posted in, the TM program comes in and closes it, and starts a new one, posting the first and last post in the old thread at the beginning of the new one. It's supposed to help the lag and other issues, but hasn't done jack squat yet except piss off the users.

On what planet does having 10,000 short threads make a message board run faster than 100 long ones?

Surely the lag would be to do with too many threads in existance, and not the amount of posts?

^^ I would have to agree, it's not like the lag is any better since the TM went in. Just wait when the Superbowl comes on and the new spots get posted. It'll be all horrible in here again. Triple posting here we come....

Speaking of Idol...they've got the best group of judges this year, and the worst group of contestants.

That ****er from Austin has got to go.

I say this based on the like...two episodes that I have seen of the Top 13.

I actually love this season. Jennifer Lopez is the greatest thing to happen to the show in years. And, I think this seasons contestants are 100% more talented then the AWFUL group of kids last year. Eeks.

They're the only two that I remember.

I don't remember anyone this year. But I checked out that Naima chick's performances on youtube. Thank God she's gone. Tried way too hard.

Bowersox was literally the only good contestant last week.

This season, Lauren, Haley, Jacob, Pia and Scotty are all great.

And if Jacob is that black gospel over-singer, I seriously beg to differ on his alleged "greatness." Of course, I do hate it when people sing like that. So I may be biased.
