I'm totally buying Fassbender as young Mags.
I'm interested in why he's holding a gun in the JFK on tv scene. Danger Room training?

Wow I just realized he was in both 300 and Inglorious Basterds!

^And was superb in both, as he was in the more recent Centurion. Knew he would be a great Mag's this trailer only confirmed that for me.

Forget Centurion, he was awesome in Hunger and Fish Tank! He'll be an amazing Magneto.

Never doubted Fassbender, but he stole scenes in the trailer alone. Absolutely pumped for the movie if not solely for him.

Same, Fassbender was the only reason I saw Jonah Hex, and even still, he was the only character that kept me in my seat through-out that pile. He'll be amazing as Magneto. He's going to smash this film as the character.

He looks like Don Draper in the "strip club".

Magneto's helmet, when revealed by Shaw, looks brilliant. Well done.

That particular scene reminded me too much of Wolverine in X2, really.

Agreed. I think Fassbender makes an awesome Magneto so far!

What I love about Fassbender's Magneto...is that he's so damned confident, and almost shallow in his desire for revenge. It almost makes McKellan's Magneto seem sort of like a "broken" version of this one...but wiser, and more desirous to help his mutant brothers than take revenge. Though I think the trailer was a tad misleading in that regard.

So, the scene where Erik turns the guard's knife on him is in the X-Mansion? Thought so, but nice to have it confirmed. Wonder why anyone's launching an attack on the place.

Also, I wonder why Erik's raising the submarine in the air/sea battle, along with when/how the X-Jet will be introduced.

Just based on the trailer, I can tell that Fassbender will be better than Ian McKellen. Although, I guess, Fassbender has an unfair advantage. He's young and can do all the badass things that McKellen was never capable of doing.

Michael Fassbender just offered a little commentary on the trailer. I love how he comments on the most badass clip of the trailer with the knife scene. Wasn't allowed to say much obviously, but still gave some good insights! |

You picked that up by the two lines he said in the trailer? Don't get me wrong i think hes gonna be a great Magneto, but people are hyping up him to a pretty high standard which i don't know how can say after just two lines ina minute and half teaser trailer. |
