Sometimes those stupid intro box things are funny, but mostly they are stupid. The best one I still read was "Rockslide-Made of Rock, Anole-Made of Awesome." I forgot what that was in.

Then they just devolved into complete s***.

it seems like we all have the same thing to say about each book every time: i like it, Havok is ready for Fraction to leave, Manic is somewhere in the middle, and Chris Moore wants Iceman. im thinking well have more to say once Gillen takes over completely.

I like the writing well enough, just not the character use.

Heh - javi, you're spot on. My major issue always has been not enough Iceman and weird power set balances in "field teams" hasn't it. Same old same old, with no change in sight

i do. its not perfect (we can all agree Sisterhood sucked and we'd like to see more than just Scott and Emma) but im really enjoying the world the X-Men are living in right now. its the book i look forward to the most every month in my pull list (take that how ever you will, but its the truth). that being said im excited to see what Gillen has planned (things already seem to be off to a good start with 'Quarantine').

I just hope the X-Men don't move back to New York anytime soon. I'm usually against the editor in chief taking too much of a hands-on approach to running things, but I want Axel's tight-fisted grip all over the X-Men franchise so they'll stay in San Francisco like he promised back when he was just the X-editor.

Where the X-Men live has never bothered me, heck they could go back to living in the Australian outback and I wouldn't mind.

I just want seperate teams again so characters can get proper action/development like they used to.

OK anyone look at last weeks cover and think Land totally copied Pam Anderson in Barbwire seriously look at Emma. On a side not although I like the idea of the current arc it still isn't gripping me although Emma's subplot I like except for the love of God will Kitty get rid of that fishbowl on her head it only works for Mysterio lol.

i like the X-Men in San Fran. for that matter i liked the 50 State Initiative. Marvel can afford to have there heroes spread out beyond the 5 burrows.
