X-Men the Last Stand Is the highest grossing X-Men film.Wolverine made more money
than X-Men Domesticly, and over seas was second highest grossing x_men film.Wolverine
If not for the leak might have made close to 200 Million domesticly.

The General audence knew Star Trek from the original yet Star Trek First Contact did very well among general audence without any original series characters In it.

X-Men first Class can do well. Many thought the X-Men wouldn't be able to be a success
back In 2000.

They both opened huge, but plummeted in their second weekends because of the bad reviews and word-of-mouth. They did solid business overall yes, but general public did not walk out digging those last two flicks.

Don't bank on another $70 million and up opening weekend after that. More like in the $30-$40 million region.

X-men, as a movie series, always opens well and then fades out in subsequent weekends.
My biggest worry with First Class is that it's opening in the middle of a very crowded field. But if it's very good it does have a shot at doing X-Men United or X-Men TLS numbers.

Yep X2 opened at 80+ million and I thought for sure it would pass 250 mill but it didn't
