Yeah, his horrible behavior on the set is pretty notorious. Nobody liked him. Adam talks about him again in this video:

Very bizarre seeing Alfred relaxing with the Penguin and the Joker wearing plaid.

Just found out that Adam West does not have a star on the Hollywood walk of fame...
Over on his facebook page his daughter and family are putting together a documentary in order to help secure him one. If the frickin' Olsen Twins can get one... why not Adam?

Yeah apparently you have to be nominated first. For example anyone can nominated Adam, fans included, but his management has to agree to all this. (which clearly they are pushing for it).
Out of the list of nominees, a committee then decides who is the most deserving... (This is apparently where Adam faulters. He must keep getting rejected). A fee of $30,000 must then be immediately paid if the individual is chosen for construction and maitanence... And the star MUST attend the ceremony, etc, etc. (Which again the family seem happy to contribute towards). --- I mean, I don't think Adam really cares... but his family and friends do, and rightly so. He is a pop culture icon. His contribution to the entertainment industry has been quite unique and I stress if the Olsen Twin are given the honour by the committee... Why not Adam?

I absolutely like this show & the colorful cast of villians that would show up. My personal favorite villian was The Joker & loved the way Cesar Romero would laugh & cackle all the time. Its a shame those greedy people at WB & Fox can't come to some sort of an agreement & get this show on dvd & blu-ray.

It's so much more complicated than that...

While I am looking forward to Anne as Catwoman (and seem to be one of a select few around here that think she is in fact insanely attractive) Julie Newmar was my first introduction to the character, and good lord was she incredible in that suit

This might be one of the most surreal things I've ever seen. You can almost see Gorshin and Romero thinking "I cant believe we are getting paid to do this!" as they look at each other.

I'm sure they were having those thoughts exactly, we all have to remember up until that point the batman character had not been taken seriously in any way, shape or form except for the early comics, and even still it was only kids that took it serious.

Anne is really hot. I can't imagine a guy walking by her in person and thinking 'meh' . Also I agree about Julie Newmar , she looked incredibly sexy for something on a kid's show. |

Oh it definitely shows they were having fun. Frank looks like he is trying not to laugh before he actually laughs and Burgess has an amused smirk when the shot goes back to him.

Aye, I used to have the 1966 movie poster up on my wall when I was a kid, they were quite popular. I got mine down in London in 89 from a comics shop, think it was one in Covent Garden, and they had a notice next to it on the wall saying 'last few left.'
After a few weeks of cricket and stuff, ITV4 in the Uk are again starting to show 'Batman', every afternoon, with repeats in the morning. 2 eps a day. The part two of the previous story, and then the 1st part of the next story, so they have a 'to be continued' for folk to tune in the next day, as opposed to them showing both eps back to back as they did before. |

It's pretty heartbreaking that her career after the show simmered down, too. You'd think she'd be in high demand after playing Catwoman and getting the recognition she did

No idea why she left after the second season. She did get work but like most of the cast nothing overshadowed their Batman run. |

I love the Adam West show. Just started watching it not long ago on tv. I've seen the movie and always liked it but I'm only now being introduced to the show. Romero is a hoot, he laughs so much it's insane
