I highly doubt they have given this man extra limbs and heads and what not. You could be right but I think it's him moving really really fast to prevent any of the explosive force from escaping. who knows for sure exactly what he's doing in that scene.

The anchor one comes to mind. The Sebastian Shaw (or some say Azazel)-stomping the ground one. The explosion itself.

of course the previously mentioned Shaw absorbing the explosion bit.

And wouldn't "not finished" by its very definition mean work-in-progress anyway?

Well, all of the special effects leading up to the very week before release can be called, "work-in-progress"--we all know that.

and since it takes probably a week or so to actually MAKE the trailer and probably a few days to actually get it officially released, the effects that we see in any trailer are probably a month older.

and these aren't even theatrical trailers, at least not domestically right?

They've all been like, extended teasers almost. I'd say, until we get a 2:30 trailer, I'd say they're nothing more than teasers.

Theatrical Trailer should be coming soon. Saw this on IMDB. Saw that a 2:30 trailer has just been classified (not sure what that means)

I'm sure most of the high profile blockbusters are waiting for next week to really push some of their final trailers, especially with Fast Five and Thor debuting on back-to-back weekends...

Wow, 2:36, that's pretty damn long for a trailer.

I hope it's good

I hope it doesn't give away too much of the movie.

Yeah, me too! That's a big problem with big movies, the studio are showing way too much in advance...

I already know more about the movie than I want to. I should stop reading here but can't. I'm probably going to watch the long trailer a million times too.

Same here. It is really hard not to watch because this along with Green Lantern are my most anticipated movies of the year...but the next trailer for this two movies will be my last and after that I woun't watch any clips or something like that...

I have a feeling we'll get a much better idea of the story with this upcoming trailer.

lol, like you've already said, you probably already know way too much as it is. It's a safe bet that as long as you stay here on the Hype, you'll end up knowing a lot more than you wanted..

Once the new trailer is released, I'm going to try to avoid as many spoilers as possible.

I'm getting really nervous for how well it's going to do in the box office though. For a supposedly 'huge summer blockbuster film' that's a little more than a month away, we've gotten one domestic teaser trailer. I haven't seen a single tv spot or print ad or billboard or promotion-tie-in or anything. And at the theaters, the most I see is the "X" poster displayed somewhere - which as most moviegoers are synonymous with the association, it still doesn't GRAB you.

I just think the marketing budget is tight and they are being strategic with the timing (as SuperSoldier pointed out). The film opens June 3rd and it's not yet May. XMen is a pretty well known brand so I can see why haven't had an early blitz of ads like Thor. But they are cutting it close.

It's an X-men movie, and it doesn't come out for another month.

I don't see why they need to start pumpin advertisements for a movie like this when its not even May yet.

That's why the marketing campaign needs to get in gear tomorrow - starting with a new trailer!

As far as I can tell, there are still a lot of people out there that have lost a lot of hope towards this movie, so with that, their expectations and excitement have remained pretty holstered and reserved..

Did you get that Xavier quote from the trailer? I thought he said something a bit different.
