What Villian Should be in the Sequel?

With regard to War machine, I was kinda disappointed not to get the whole, "Fills in as Iron Man, then goes crazy(due to the cybernetics of the helmet) and Tony needs to get his act together to stop his BFF" bit. That's actually a very interesting story to me and the best way to work toward WM coming into the picture.

Oh hell yeah , when I first heard about War Machine being included in IM2 I thought that was where Favreau was going with it.

I got a question for you Thor fans: When Thor is on Earth and not busy with Avengers stuff, what does he do? Thor has never struck me as a crimefighter.

He's mostly dealing with a massive thread or doing something Avengers related, sometimes he even does a bit of crime fighting (not much though).

Isn't Skurge a Jotun like Loki? Perhaps Loki recruits him saying Odin and Thor were responsible for the Bifrost firing on their homeworld. Once he learns the truth he turns on Loki because he doesn't like Asgardians anyway.

Loki , Enchantress and Skurge would be great . Good combination of brains beauty and strength It would be nice to see a strong female villianess to be a contrast to sif a heronie of asgard . I would like to see a fight between these two strong women too .

And maybe more frost giants as well , that would be cool I think

I've only got A:EMH to go on, - and that's probably very inaccurate - but in that show it seems that Amora can take or at least bind Thor into impotence; comic-wise how does it go? Because going by the cartoon Sif would stand even less of a chance.

Me either, I wouldn't mind seeing Ulik appear as a "physical villain" in Thor 2 or Thor 3.

I think that would be the best formula using Loki as main threat but along the way he gets help or forms a partnership.

I'm waiting to see film 1st but if I had to pick a future villain/s then I'd love to see Kurse & The Wrecking Crew.

I would imagine some good casting ideas for them will already be on some folks minds.

Kurse is a personal fav though.

Yep and you know if she's involved the Executioner is gonna be there right by her side as the "muscle", just like he is in the comics.

There would be some epic fight scenes between Thor and Executioner, as a matter of fact their fights could be better than Spidey vs Dock Ock if Branagh pushes the envelope with the action.

Much as I like those two I can't see them as anything more than secondary characters. I picture the Executioner (Skógr) and the Enchantress (Ásvöra) as being more morally ambiguous than outright evil in the movieverse. You must remember that despite his Jotunn blood, Skurge's mother is an Asgardian like the Enchantress. Neither of them wants to see Asgard destroyed so there is a limit to how far they will go. No, the primary threat would have to come from the likes of Ulik, Fafnir, Mangog, Malekith and/or Surtur. Those last three are especially nasty pieces of work...
