Thor and Iron Man 2 soundtrack

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but don't you think these songs sound pretty similar at the beginning? One where Tony Stark is using science, the other the prolouge to a very magical Thor movie.

They are kinda similar. Marvel movies really lack a good score. Thor's score is really generic. It actually echoes the score from Ang Lee's Hulk with those violins in the beginning. Only that score by Elfman was great. Also, Thor doesn't seem to develope a theme until around 2.00.
