So what are your guys' prediction of how much XFC will make for its Opening Weekend I'd say around 50ish

I think it might be one of those films that doesn't blow the box office away on it's opening weekend. I think people will see it, and if it's even half as good as it looks, people will tell their friends, and people will read positive reviews and there'll be a big boom soon after. I think it'll have a big second weekend. Either way, I think it'll be a success overall.

I'm actually concerned about box office with this. It's just so crowded that I fear it could get lost in all the other blockbusters around it. if it's really good, then I won't be concern. It will be successful at the box office. But if it's only ok, I could see this struggling to make it to $150 mill.

I think it will do fine, alot of my non comics friends are more excited for this film than alot of the other tentpoles.

I think X-Men - in any media - is more appealing to a wider audience than the other superhero/action franchises having films this summer. X-Men always has an ensemble of characters, including strong women, mold-breaking villains and borderline-"bad" good guys, and then there's romance, unique action and strong themes that most people can relate to. You don't have to be a superhero fan to love the X-Men. Plus, the film franchise has four moderately-to-very successful films already. I don't see it getting lost in the shuffle.

Nicholas, James, Lucas and Michael are all extremely good looking though, and Caleb ain't that bad to look at.

I hope it's making a lot of money, but since it is so crowded with new movie I am quite worried as well. Super 8 got lots of buzz and it opens a week later.

Does anyone feel that perhaps Charles was in Erik and Raven's heads all these times that after the submarine incident, and with Erik possessing the helmet Charles decides to let them be ? I know the movie will open soon, but cant help thinking of the reasons Erik and Raven could hate him so much to the point of killing him.
