Did the XOrigins: Wolverine writters read X-2 prequels?
It just seems like, they used sabretooth for the past of wolverine and X-2 implies that wolverine suffered even more experiments.
I believe they read and liked it, so they aplied it to the continuity, even if the movie is going to be retconed. |

In the prequels we learn more about sabretooth having known wolverine before and in the end he also worked for Stryker, another thing is that during the end of the prequels it's shown that sabretooth didn't survive the operassion to infuse adamantium in him, and the the movie he tell Sabretooth he wouldn't survive it.
And it also makes possible that his mutation made him more animal. |
